Thanks! Although I'm pretty sure I not only fell off the wagon today but got ran over by it! Thanksgiving dinner was awesome and I didn't hold back! lol

Good thing weigh in is the day BEFORE Thanksgiving and not after!

We used the lounge furniture. Get it! They also set up plants, lights and decorations (at no extra cost). After, we took our pics we sat down for dinner. We were more concerned with dancing. So we asked Carlos to speed up the dinner. The dinner and everything about it was wonderful. When we initially met with Zulma we picked our salad, soup, dessert & cake. We asked her if we could do a menu tasting to decide on the entre. She said we could taste 3 items. She set up our tasting for Thursday. It was at Spice. We got to meet the Chef who would be cooking for our reception. This was when we got to meet Carlos for the first time. We chose the filet for our main course and got the salmon dish for my one vegetarian friend. Everyone bragged about the food! The steaks were cooked perfectly! Great Review! Thank you! I have a few questions.... I also want to bring a picture to have them replicate for flowers... did they charge extra for not going with something in the catolog? How were the hair and make-up people? How much time should you allow before the ceremony for hair and make-up? You had your ceremony at the gazebo and your reception on the beach in front of the gazebo? Did they have the tables set up on the beach before your ceremony started? I wanted my reception on the beach in front of the gazebo after my ceremony in the gazebo and Zulma told me that she wouldn't recommend it because the tables would have to be set up prior to my ceremony and they would show in my ceremony pictures in the background and cover up the beach... what was your set up like? And finally, how long did dinner take to eat? The reception time is so short and I don't want to spend the whole time eating either... Thanks again for your review!

Thanks for being on top of that and posting the receipe Abbie! The Sweet potato dish is a dinner dish, not a dessert.

Ususally pumpkin pie is a must, at least in our family! We do Pumpkin and a fruit pie like Apple or peach. Some families do Yams but we don't so I guess that is all about what you like and don't like. We usually do a green bean cassarole with the little onion crunchies on the top. Some families have dishes that are just tradition in their families that get made, we have a jello dish called Mt. Dew Salad that we always make. Sounds like you have a perfect list already! I'm sure you will do great! I don't think you can really go wrong with anything! Good Luck!

Yael- I love your photos! You have totally inspired me to pick photography back up (I majored in it in college for a while but then dropped it). The glasses and the landscapes are amazing! I completely love that you photograph your furry kids! They always make such fun subjects and the photos turned out so wonderful! Awesome job! I can't wait to see more in the future!

I was told by Zulma that they wont do a ceremony in front of the gazebo while one is taking place in the gazebo.... They may do several weddings a day but she said they won't have them interfer with each other. Hopefully this is correct.

I am soooo happy I finally found my dress and with only 6 months to go, I was getting down to the wire for ordering! I went to a town about an hour away on a whim because I had time to kill this weekend and figured why not! I didn't even have my MOH or my mom with me so a purchase was not the plan because I always thought I would have them with me when I decided. Anyways, I seriously didn't even want to take it off, I totally would have left wearing it! I am so in love with it! I think it will look even better when I finish losing the weight I have been working to get off before the wedding. Its a Sottero and Midgley SSM5234. (So I still have a maggie dress which makes me happy!) Oh and to make it better- the Store manager gave me 15% off when I asked her if she would! So I stayed under my budget. It's funny though because my FI has been watching "Say Yes to the dress" with me every once in a while and when I told him the price of my dress I though he would flip out but instead watching that show must have prepared him because his response to me was, "Oh that's awesome! I though you were going to spend like $3-$5K!" So here it is... please don't mind the bad hair (wasn't planning on getting a dress when I went!) Oh, also not sure if I will wear the ribbon belt, it can come off.

Love Maggie! Great choice! Its very pretty! I also noticed that the Maggie dresses that I was looking at looked so much prettier in person that the model web photo!

I need to skim through the book and see what was left out. I wanted to re-read but ran out of time. All in all I give it 2 thumbs up and will probably see it again in the theater and will buy the DVD. Also, I did enjoy some of the one liners in the movie, I actually laughed a lot. I thought the book portrayed a closer relationship between Bella and jacob than the movie did, I was a little disappointed in that too. Although I am not really Team Jacob so it doesn't matter I guess.

Heather every picture so far is so amazing! You are going to have perfectly captured memories to look back on! How awesome to have photos like that!

I hate to be the downer but I was totally disappointed in New Moon. I went last night at midnight. I think they left way too much of the book out of the movie and I didn't like how some of the scenes played out. For example, I didn't get emotional at all when Edward left, the scene didn't have enough emotion in my opinion, it wasn't tragic enough. In the book I cried like a baby. When he left her she walked through the woods and just laid down, there was no hysterics, no crying and screaming and running after him- I mean come on the love of your life just left. Also, after he left they did a good overview of the time passes and her being depressed but I wasn't satisfied with it. I could go on. I enjoyed it, but I guess my expectations were too high....

Lol, I am winning due to sheer number loss of people! The odds are just more in favor now! Too funny! But thank you!

OHHH BOY! My FI is soooo picky and I made the mistake of asking him about some dresses that I liked and he HATED them! I didn't know what to do!! I panicked and started freaking out when it came time to shop! But I agree with what the girls said, find something that looks fabulous on you, he will like it! If he really hates like for example, pick-ups on a skirt or big poofy flowers maybe try and stay away from something like that but if its just the sleeves or cut of a dress or a certain material then I wouldn't worry. Then again it is your dress, do you care what he thinks? I do to a degree so I am staying away from certain things, but I am confident he will think I am beautiful no matter what. Go shop!

I think the black will look awesome as long as he doesn't mind how much hotter he may be?! Erika just had her wedding and her FI wore a black shirt and it looked awesome!! Is he doing a full suit though? I think the black shirt tan pants looks awesome!

Jesmcan- Thank you for the review! You are awesome! So if you don't want the orange candles what is the other choice? The orange would clash with my colors. Also, do they put the palms up at the beach reception? We just some some photos from Del Sol that they were used and they are fabulous.

I am going to the midnight show with 3 teenagers! Oh help me! lol (But I still can't wait to see it!)

I'm down so far for this weeks weigh in. I went wedding dress shopping this weekend and the lady told me I need to finish losing by January to get my dress ordered in time! EEK! She said I can only lose about 10lbs after that. Crap. So, I am going to work my butt off unitl January, no more slacking!
