So FI booked tickets to Vegas as a 30th Birthday present for me! My b-day was this month and the trip isn't until May (like a week before we leave for Mexico) but that's cool! So I am sooooo excited because I have never ever been to Vegas before!! So ladies, I read your reviews what would ya'll suggest for a couples weekend getaway? I don't think we will be in the room much, just to sleep and well you know! But I think I would want a nice pool and I want to be in the center of the action. I am going to look for deals online, but I can't really afford the Bellagio with my Mexico wedding like 12 days later! Also, M and I really wanted to pull and secret Vegas wedding like some of our other BDW brides have (Andi and Jess come to mind!) So we are doing our legal ceremony there instead of the boring Des Moines Iowa Courthouse! Woot! I am soooo excited! I can't wait! Elvis wedding drive-thru here I come!!

I finally got my BM's together this weekend and got dresses figured out and ordered and I am so glad to have that checked off my to-do list! They both ended up liking one that I had been eyeing for a while now, so I am happy about that! Here are pics of the dress, its a Mori Lee #735. I was originally going to do a Tiffany Blue color for the dresses with fucshia/pink flowers but decided to change my colors a bit after finding my dress and realizing I didn't like the Tiffany Blue with my Ivory dress. So now we are doing the mocha/chocolate color with fuschia/pink flowers etc.

OMG are you kidding me??! WTF is he doing? I am going to have to go check this out now!

I am using Nate as well but not in PV! I am flying him to Playa, I think I am his first "east coast" MX wedding! I am so excited to have his as our photographer!

I emailed my TA and had her check for my wedding week and she assure me that there were still plenty of rooms... but that is June....

Randi- I have seen the ballroom receptions and there have been past brides on here that had them and they were fabulous. If you want it indoors I think it will still be great! The ballroom is very pretty.
