We get free entrance passes to Xcaret with our resort stay so that'll probably be our main group excursion once most guests arrive. thanks for all the other suggestions! i'm probably going to try a few earlier in the week before guests arrive.

I'm not doing one either. I'll at the resort a week before the wedding so hopefully all the details can get planned then. and i'm keeping my fingers crossed the resort is as nice as the reviews

Thanks Everyone! I love how helpful this forum is. I feel much more comfortable now waiting until the spring to start doing the planning stuff. The cost makes sense for the flowers, but I think for me having the ease of having the resort do the flowers and having the real thing will be worth the cost. maybe i'll get ambitious in the spring and decide to make centerpieces. $65 each table would add up fast! right now I have no idea if i'm going to have 20 guests or 200. I'm going to send the invites out in January. All my guests have the save-the-date and TA info, and the feeling I'm getting is most are waiting till closer to the date to see if they can get time off etc before they book the trip. so no point for me asking for RSVP's now if its all going to change the spring! Thanks for all the help!

Hey Everyone, Sorry I've been absent for a while. I've been catching up on the thread and its making nervous i haven't been doing anything for my wedding! I have some questions. 1. What's the draw for the fake flowers? Part of the reason I choose the destination wedding was the beautiful real tropical flowers! i'm assuming they're cheaper in Mexico, is that not the case? 2. How are you making OOT bags with out knowing how many people are coming? I figured I'd start in Feb/March after the RSVP's are due. is that too late? what's the delivery time for most of you items? 3. did anyone send out a reminder email to their guests make sure they have up-to-date passports? i want to do that soon and am looking for wording... My Fiance is having his "3" best friends from elementary school. but I couldn't pick just 3. I really couldn't decide, and felt guilty making my poor graduate student friends spend money to come to my wedding and then on a dress and all the bridesmaids activities... so I chose to make my side all "family" -- my sister, fiance's sister, and my brother's fiance. took me 9 months to decide though! it's a tough decision, I just couldn't do it.
