Congrats! There are so many beautiful all inclusives down there. I would prioritize your most important points and narrow it down from there. I am getting married at The Royal Playa del Carmen for the close proximity to town and the sister resort next door for a lower price point. Grab a glass of wine and start reading the posts, there is a TON of great info!

ultimately you need to be happy with your ring, but a simple small diamond band would be beautiful as well. I think most importantly, go with what you love and what accentuates your ring the best!

Welcome and enjoy all this site has to offer. I would make a list of what is most important to you and then start looking for a resort. I changed my mind about 4 times and then ended up going with the resort I originally wanted to get married at! haha. Happy planning!

I stayed at the Royal for a wedding last October. We had a great experience, loved the double jacuzzi's in each room, the food, hammocks on the patios and the close proximity to the main part of town. We never felt "trapped" like some resorts make you feel when you are so secluded. I am getting ready to start planning my wedding at the Royal.

Its nice because she gives you a meal plan to follow. When I don't have time to cook I eat a lean cuisine or healthy choice around 300 calories and a piece of fruit. She also has a calorie counter, but I find "my plate" on livestrong.com to be more user friendly. Plus, there is an app for the iphone that will link to your computer and phone. I have no excuse not to track my calories. :-)

i use the 30 day shred and love it! i also signed up for jillian michael's workouts on her website. It is $4 a week and she provides workouts you can do at home and receipes.

I stayed at the Royal in Playa del Carmen and they had a nice beach. Another plus was the 2 minute walk to the main part of town allowing those who want to shop and eat outside of the resort the ability to do so. It also was not a "mega" resort, I believe it was under 400 rooms.

Love the idea!!! I better go stock our beer fridge with Corona!!!

Love SC! I was just at Fripp Island, beautiful small private island with many rentals. Once you are on the island all you need is a golf cart to get around. I am actually looking into it for my wedding.

I did an hour of body pump on monday and was soooo sore I had to take tuesday off. I'm off to the gym for either body pump or spin, I think I'll flip a coin! P90X is a killer I heard. 3 of my co-workers are doing it and said they are dying, but feel great!

Love this spot. I am looking into it for my wedding as the swine flu has cancelled my mexican destination wedding :-(
