Hi ladies! I'm having a Hilton Head wedding in May, and it's crunch time to get the invitations out. In addition to the traditional invite, I'd like to include some information on the area for our guests. Considering I've never been to Hilton Head before, I'm not sure where to start. Do any of you know of a resource for inexpensive visitors' guides? Also - any cool ideas on destination invites? I did a boarding pass save-the-date, and I feel like I have to top that with a creative invitation! I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

Ok, ladies I need some assistance in the Hilton Head area. I'm planning a small wedding (30 guests) and would like to rent a house for the wedding weekend. Not all the guests would be staying in the house, just the wedding party (need 6 bedrooms). I'd like to have the ceremony on the beach, and then just walk up to the house for the reception. Any ideas? The one vacation rental I fell in love with online does not allow wedding receptions. (No sure how they would know, but my FI spilled the beans already!) The house owner was concerned that our party would be larger than 30. Not possible. We're coming from Ohio, Indiana, TX, Chicago, AZ, and CA, but we don't know anyone in SC. Not likely we'll have any wedding crashers! Just wondering if there are any local gals on this forum who can make a suggestion, or any brides who have had luck renting a house in the area. I appreciate any help you can offer!!

I'm newly engaged and considering CR. My FI's co-worker has a few condos at Los Suenos, that he's willing to rent to us (very inexpensive). Other than that, I have no clue where to start. Any recommendations on wedding planners in the area? I want this to be a stress-free as possible.

Hi everyone! This is my first post on BDW and my first experience with forums in general. I'm newly engaged and my fiance and I know we want a destination wedding. Luckily, our parents are on board. Now, it's just a matter of doing the research! We're looking at a tentative date of May 22, 2010, and thinking either the Carribbean or Mexico. I can't wait to learn from the experiences of the real-life brides on this site! Looking forward to "talking" to all of you!
