  1. So, my shoot is tomorrow! I am nervous and excited at the same time. Think I will need a shot or two before to loosen up! But that isn't out of the norm I hear! I needed to go buy some black heels today...but didn't get around to it. And was hoping to hit up the mall, for a 'naughtier' outfit....didn't happen either. I hope what I have will do. AHHHHHHH!
  2. Thanks you guys! I will be sure to keep you posted as to what he has planned. He keeps asking me if I'm excited....I'm like, how can I be excited about something I don't know....more nervous. LOL

I don't think he would be to pleased....I would have to slash the tires of three vehicles, the motorcycle he just got back from being stolen and fixed, a FX35 that he just had to put 22's on so the tires are crazy expensive, and a dodge stealth that he just got running. I don't think he would be to happy with me. LOL. He actually came home tonight and said, "I need you home Friday by 5:30, I have made arrangements for the kids and we're going out on a date." Which isn't very often...so I am pretty pleased. I hope he goes above and beyond on Friday....since I will be all gussied up from getting my BD pictures taken. I already told him that his gift will probably be ready when he comes back into town. Thanks for letting me rant

To say its not for you, that is fine, we are all different and like different things, but to say its cheesie, that is another thing altogether, in fact that is just being bitchy and snotty. Just an FYI! Well put! I totally agree with you on this one!

If I had the extra vacation time and a overnight sitter, I would be with him in a heartbeat. As far as meeting up at night....outta the question, he's going about 6 hours south of here. I wish there was a way to work it out....but there isn't. Blah!

  7. A little back story before I start. My FI was a private investigator for a little over a year and a half, he loved doing it....I didn't. He was gone New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Christmas Eve, Easter, and anniversary....and pretty much every holiday and birthday. He was gone for weeks and at one time a month. This put a strain on our relationship and the trust status for both of us. I never even thought about cheating on him, I was at home with two kids (1 being a newborn). I says he never did either, and I can only hope he was telling the truth.....okay....He left the PI business because he got into a wreck on the job and the company refused to pay the difference from economy car to a luxury rental car (which they demanded he get for his line of work). His car was going to be in the shop for 2 months for the repairs and we couldn't afford a luxury vehicle for 2 months....for some reason he didn't have rental insurance. He left on good terms so he could continue to do the GPS tracking instillation and removal for the company. I was so happy when he left there.....I got to have my FI and baby daddy back at home. he is now working as a low voltage contracter which normally is a 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m. Last week he was gone from Monday to Friday, he was supposed to be home Wednesday, but that didn't happen. Our anniversary is May 5th and being that we have two kids, I thought it would be nice to do something just us two....so I got a sitter and planned a nice dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. He sends me a text this morning telling me he has to go out of town May 4-6. WTF. His company has like 60 employees, why can't one of those guys go? I asked him if they could arrange for him to go the later part of the week so that we could be together for our 'first' anniversary...note our first two he was working a case. He was like "NO." I was like, "FINE, it's just another day." He could tell I was pissed, hurt, and upset. He swears he will make it up to me...I hope he does....this just make me wanna slap him so hard. Sorry so long...but I knew this was the one place I could vent and not get into trouble. Thanks Girls!
  8. I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. I can only imagine what you are going through this close to your wedding day. This is much added stress you don't need. You should be relaxing on the beach sipping margaritas; not worrying about the vendors. I hope they are all understanding of your situation.
  9. I am also going out to buy a sombrero...since our anniversary and wedding day is on Cinco de Mayo!
  10. Well, that is GOOD to know. Sell away then! I give you my blessing to do so. ROFLMAO
  11. Good Luck Ladies! This is going to be a close one. I can already tell!
  12. So, I won these off of Ebay on Tuesday and got them on Friday....but wasn't home to sign for them, so I picked them up from the Post Office today. They are a bit smaller then I hoped, but they will work for what I need them for. I was going to use gable boxes, so I guess these are a tad bigger then those. I only need about 20 or so, so if you'd like you could PM me and let me know if you would like to purchase the other 23 that I have. They are a turquoise color and about 9.5" x 6"
  13. Are these just extras? You seem to be selling a lot of stuff right before your wedding! I don't need them....but curious! ~Samie~
  14. I don't know if I could do a "real" scavanger hunt. I would hate for my guests to spend a lot of money to come to my wedding to have to buy stuff for a scavanger hunt. Unless you plan on doing a hunt where the items you are looking for isn't something you can buy. This is Why I opted for the photo scavanger hunt and the person who can find them first and give me copies will win a prize. Maybe dinner for 2 or a massage for 2 or something like that.
  15. Here is a list I have come up with...although i haven't used it yet. But if you do a search you can find a thread that somebody did about the scavanger hunt and how it was a HUGE hit with the guests. Scavanger Photo Hunt 1. Sweet pic of groom/bride 2. Speedo gone wrong 3. Best real dance face 4. Mimic a statue or fountain 5. Do exactly what the sign says (any sign) 6. Capture a reflection of yourself 7. “I can’t believe we all fit in here!†8. A pic of a guy with a mullet 9. Someone you don’t know holding hands 10. A spelling mistake on a sign 11. Are you really going to wear that? 12. Someone sleeping where they shouldn’t be 13. “What the heck is this?†14. Girls just wanna have fun! 15. Cannon Ball! 16. Get a room... 17. Raccoon eyes 18. Hungry? (someone stuffing their face) 19. Boys will be boys 20. 80's bangs 21. Spell something using people (this would be a fun one while drinking!) 22. Something big (I like open-ended ones like this for the creative people!) 23. "oh my!" 24. Sand castle 25. Bad hair day 26. Bride and Grooms true colors 27. What I want to be when I grow up 28. How did he/she do that? 29. Why 30. How romantic 31. Share the road (probably relevant in Mexico and Jamaica) 32. Best Dancer 33. Worst Dancer 34. Someone who doesn't know you are watching them 35. Are those real? (could be flowers, boobs, ...) 36. Someone looking bored 37. Your silliest face 38. Bride enjoying a cocktail 39. Groom enjoying a drink 40. Bride and her maids up to something

I asked FI to marry me May 5, 2008, and have set our date for May 5, 2010. Keeping things simple for FI so he doesn't have to remember different dates...LOL. We are getting married at Tybee Island, Georiga. Not as exotic as some of the places you girls are going, but still pretty!
  17. I am glad to see I am not the only one who thinks it is a bad idea to ask her to cover them. I hope everything works out for you. Keep us posted on your decision! Much Luck!
  18. I think my favorite picture would have to be the "family tradition" one. I LOVE IT! Everything looks so beautiful. Congrats and can't wait to see the pro pictures!

If those are the only ones you are worried about....I wouldn't stress to much. How many wedding pictures do you see that show the backs? I haven't seen any that I know of. LOL. Still if you're worried, photoshop with approval or pashimas.

What type of dress will she be wearing?
  21. I am sorry, but you asked her to be in your wedding knowing she has tattoos. You could ask her to hold off on getting another one till after the wedding, but even then....touchy subject. KWIM. If somebody asked me to cover them up for pictures I would be hurt. All of my tattoos have a meaning and show the course my life has taken over the years, they ARE part of who I am. You love her enough to ask her to be in your wedding, but yet don't want something that sets her aside from others to not be. I don't want to sound mean in any way. Plus, cover up may not hold up to well in the hot sun and may look even worse. If she is okay with it, I would take the course of having the photographer photoshopping them out.
  22. My FI isn't really into garters, corsets, and well lingerie in general. He is simple and finds boy shorts and a white beater sexy.....or nothing at all. So, here is a list of what I am bringing: - Motorcycle Jacket and helmet (a symbol of what brought us together) - 3 or 4 camis - 3 or 4 boy shorts (different colors) - white button down dress shirt - hot pink sheet (hopefully I can find one) - long strand of pearls I am also going to talk to my photographer and see if I can make a Mudslide (or something that just looks it), it is my FI favorite drink and he finds a girl drinking from a straw kinda sexy....IDK....why do guys find the smallest thing sexy?
  23. I am going to look at these when I get home.....I don't want to pull up your PORN...LOL...just kidding....while at work. I can't wait to look though.
  24. Sexy Sexy Woman! I am telling you guys we need to start an agency and get you girls doin some modeling.
  25. I agree with MarieSam. A man should never be embarrassed to carry you under his arm. I think he is an ass for saying that and you DESERVE better. I wish I could write more....but I have to get the kiddos to school and sitter. Keep your head up and you're in my thoughts and prayers.
