I was wondering the same thing for the travel mugs...so I wouldn't have to get them engraved. -
What's the difference in the ceremonies...on the info pack that Yaly sent me it's 900cuc but it doesn't say anything about a symbolic ceremony (300 cuc)..thanks.

Hey ladies quick money question...my travel agent said Playa Pesquero offers free weddings. I just got the information packet from Yaly but there is no mentioning of "free weddings". We're going down in April and there will be 40 of us...just wondering if any of you girls have heard this or is my travel agent wrong. I thought i could get a faster response on here then e-mailing Yaly again....thanks.

Sand ceremony is where each of you have a container of sand (could be in your wedding colours) and then you both pour your sand into one container

Thanks very much ladies....I'm not getting married till April 2010 and I have yet to even get in touch with Yaly (I believe that's her name). I guess all the questions (locations for wedding, flowers available, cake, decorations, music etc.) will minimize a little once I start planning more.

So I finally managed to get my fiance to sit down with me and pick a resort....so Playa Pesquero it is. Thank you ladies for all your reviews...they really helped. I guess now the fun begins. If there are any ideas or helpful advice I'd really appreciate them.

Another Canadian bride getting married in Cuba. We haven't picked the resort yet...but the Oasis Playa Coco is looking pretty good. Is there anyone out there that has been to this resort...or even considering it?

Hi Julie...I have visited Holguin twice and both times were amazing. The Brisas Guardalavaca and Playa Costa Verde were both nice resorts. The first one was my favorite out of the two. We are also thinking of Holguin or Cayo Coca for our destination.
