I love this thread!! I always creep on the Mommies-to-be thread We have a beautiful little girl, London. She is 6 months old. She rolls around like a steamroller!! I can't believe she is 6 months already.. feels like yesterday I was pregnant. I honestly did not want ANY kids until I met my FI.. he is the only person I could ever imagine having a family with and I'm so glad that I found him and realized what I really wanted. Now I have baby fever!! I want one more.. hopefully a boy, but as long as she/he is healthy! We are moving after the wedding to be closer to my family, so if all goes well back home then we are trying for another baby!! I hope the next one is just as wonderful as London, she is amazing. Happy all the time, just a joy to be around. She started sleeping through the night when she was 2 months old. She loves her sleep and knows when it's time for play and time for bed She is the love of my life

She sounds like a spoiled brat!! I'm so sorry that you have to put up with her crap. If anyone should say anything about the situation on your wedding day, then I would politely let them know that this is your day and you will not feel guilty for having the wedding of your dreams. If they don't have anything, but well wishes for you and your new hubby then they should probably stay in their room or go play by themself on the beach! I'm having the same problem with my FMIL, she is not coming to the wedding because she doesn't like the heat?! Note that she went to Hawaii for her honmeymoon. She also said that she already sees us as married anyways.. Uhmm, SO not the point!! Whatever though.. the ones who truely want to be there will be there.

Ugh, does no one have any respect for the wedding couple trying to plan their wedding?!?

I have only been to SF once and I loved it so much!! We stayed at The Palace.. all I know is that we were walking distance to downtown (Macy's) and alot of GREAT restaurants!! I was 7 months pregnant, so I ate alot lol!! The Palace Hotel: San Francisco Hotel Reservations What a great Bday present!!

I'm also getting married at the Moon Palace and we have 30 guests booked already. We chose the MP only because FI's uncle has "timeshare" there and had given us our trip & hotel stay for a wedding present. Our guests did comment on the price, but after I explained that it is a 5+ star resort and it's AI, they warmed up to the idea. Obviously, because we have more guests than we expected now I mean EVERYTHING is included there.. plus free tours and alot of little extras.. they go the extra mile. You definately get what you pay for.

We are doing our TTD session off-site and I believe we are going to a cenote or another beach. Our resort won't let outside vendors unless we pay for a room or something rediculous.. but that's ok with us. It's like our own little getaway I think a Baseball diamond sounds fantastic!! It's original, unique and means something to the both of you and that's what counts. TTD sessions are for you and your FI anyways.. do what makes you happy and take pictures you can look fondly upon later on in life.

Totally go for it!! We are getting married in May and I just decided to do the TTD session. Same thing.. I saw all the great photos and now I just have to have them!! It's a great gift to each other for your anniversary

We invited over 100 people, but we are only expecting 25-30 ppl. So far we have 20 ppl confirmed.. just waiting on those last minute stragglers Even if we end up with only the 20 I'm happy!! I wanted something small and tropical and that's what I'm getting!!

I agree, I talked to her and finally told her how I felt. I told her that her throwing the house in my face is making me want to move less and less. She apologized and said she wasn't trying to make me feel that way. She just thought that it was unfair that my dad has paid for nothing and they have paid for everything. I agree with her, but I don't think that it's fair to put my Dad in the poor house either. So, as of right now we are trying to get everyone to book through my Dad's travel agent so we can get the free cocktail party - $600 value. That will take a big load off and then there won't be so much to pay for and a price much more realistic for him to pay. We have 7 rooms so far.. we only need 3 more!! I really hope we get there and I'm trying my hardest to make that happen. My parents (mom & step-dad) are one of the rooms. Also, my sister and brother-in-law have now decided to come and they might be the 8th room. My brother-in-law said he was going to do the photography for the wedding and then they backed out because they didn't think they could afford it. Well, now they are coming (GREAT!!) and he can do the pictures which saves another $500!! Things are slowly falling into place. Thanks for reading/listening.. I was just having A DAY, as I'm sure all you other beautiful brides have. Now my apt flooded... yay!! Just another obstacle I think I would rather deal with the water than my wedding some days haha

As long as everyone books through the same company then you can also get the freebies. We are working with a TA, but if someone wants to go with their own TA and books with the same company as everyone else then that will count towards your group. We are all booking with Sunwing, but not everyone is booking through the TA we have suggested.

Well I was going to do my 30 day shred, but my upstairs neighbour decided to fall asleep with his portable washer on!! Oh yes... water everywhere.. UGH! All over our bed.. our carpet.. even in the bathroom. Now there will be a billion people here for the next few days ripping up carpet and fixing ceilings. When will I exercise?!
