  1. I'm a Cabo Bride but haven't booked a location. Wedding is scheduled for Nov. 2009.
  2. I seen several Brides' give the groom a lingerie picture of themselves.
  3. What about Baja Cantina? I've seen several posts on this and you can access their price menu online.
  4. If you purchase the package, do the 20 guests have to be staying at the hotel?
  5. I did forget to include the flowers. I was hoping to only spend about a $1000. I'm currently getting a quote from Florenta so I will have a better idea on how much it's going to be. I was budgeting about 4-5 hours for the DJ. I haven't decided if I should have the DJ for the ceremony or just the reception. Either way, I would have to spend the money on a Trio. I just think that the food is a overpriced. I have looked into the other AI hotels like Dreams but the room rates are so expensive and I don't think that my guests would stay there. With that said, I would then have to pay an additional fee for all the guests not staying at the hotel. I thought I read $8day pass plus location fees plus dinner. Is this correct? If you don't mind posting your budget for your location, this would really help. Thanks, Jessica
  6. What else is included with the location fee? Does this take care of the set-up fee? Is there some decoration included?
  7. I really need your help. I'm am trying to plan a wedding for Nov. 2009 and have started to figure out my my budget. I didn't want to spend over $20,000 but that seems to be the case. So, I'm hoping that you can provide me some feedback on your budget for your location. I was looking at the Sheraton and they dinner runs about $70 pp and drinks is about $16pp an hour. I am expecting about 60 guests. With that said, here is my budget this far: Dress and accessories $1400 Food $4500 Bar $3500 DJ $1000 Cake $400 Photographer $2500 Invitations/Stationary $500 Welcome Bags $300 Wedding Party Attire $1500 Travel $2400 Sunset Cruise $3000 Favors $800 Also, the Sheraton has quoted me $200 a room per night with a 2 night minimum. What are the other hotel requirements? Thanks, Jessica
  8. Does anyone know the cost of rooms for wedding guests?
  9. I also don't have any points available. Can someone post the prices within the thread? Also, does anyone know what thier cost per person is in November 2009?
  10. Has anyone looked into Mexicana or AeroMexico. I'm getting married next November so pricing on flights are not available at this time but I have been searching other dates just to get an idea. I noticed that there are not that many direct flights for LAX. I think AA had flights from LA over 6 hours. Is anyone else flying from LAX?
  11. I'm planning on also getting married in the states before we get to Cabos but I'm not sure how that affects our religious ceremony. Does anyone know if we have to present a wedding certificate in Cabos?
  12. I just emailed Signature Weddings last week to get more information and pricing but I haven't heard back as of yet. Once I do, I will post their services and pricing info.
  13. Meagan, I think that that booze cruise is about $40 PP. It's called the Jungle Booze Cruise which you can google and see the different vendor pricing. I'm sure depending on the amount of people in your group that you would be able to get a group discount. I'm thinking of doing something similar except it's during the day and includes snorkling plus lunch and open bar.
  14. The Sheraton appears not to be very flexible. They do not allow any outside alcohol. All F & B must be purchased through Sheraton.
  15. Tiffany, I can't seem to find any information on Sheraton villas. Are these on the same property as the Hacienda?
  16. I'm a new bride considering the Sheraton but I hadn't heard anything about the bonfire. That does sound cool. I just received the menu today but wasn't too excited about it. Do you know if we can order from the D'Cortez resturant. Also, do you have to rent a dance floor? I'm not planning on hiring a WC so I appreciate any info.
  17. I was wondering if someone has previously had or seen the chapel at the Sheraton. I know that that pictures online don't look that great but I was wondering if with a little bit of decoration you could have a nice ceremony. Also, does anyone know what the chapel and setup fees are?
  18. Are you planning on having your wedding here? I love the chapel. It's so beautiful. The only thing that concerns me is the room rates. What is an appropriate amount for guest to spend?
  19. Hi Shawna, I'm considering the Sheraton for our wedding but I guess Viviana is out on vacation. How has your experience been with hotel? Does the hotel have a list of vendors that they recommend? Also, I did get a hold of their menu but nothing really appealed to me. I wonder if they let you order from the resturant on location.
  20. I looked the pictures of this hotel and there are simply breath-taking. This was the first placed that I looked at in Cabos but when I saw the room rates I knew that I couldn't make my guest stay there. Hope you enjoy your site visit.
