Ladies, I'm back and I have to admit that even though the hotel did not wow me at first sight that I think it was the perfect location for my wedding. There were some little issues on the day of the wedding but nothing big enough to ruin the day. Jess

Five cents-the beach at Dreams is beautiful but you can't swim in the water. However, you walk down the beach about a mile towards the Melia Cabo Real to swim in the beach. Jess

I just got back from Cabo and had no issues going through customs. I had a couple of suitcases filled of beach bags and flip flops and there were no questions asked. Also, with my luck I got a red light and had to have my bags checked but had no issues! I think you will be fine. Jess

I just arrived in Cabo and I have to say that Dreams is not what I expected. The hotel is nice but it does not have a "WOW" factor. I'm currently staying at the Sheraton which was my first option and I'm kicking myself in the bootie. I guess I should have did a site visit!!! Oh well, I'm sure everything will turn out well! Jess

Jenn, Selecting the right hotel is the by far the hardest thing about getting married. I live in Central California and I can understand your concerns about the quality food at Dreams. I had the same concerns which is why I'm not a big fan of AI Hotels. However, reading the previous brides wedding reviews changed my mind and I will be getting married there in a couple of weeks. Just to ease your mind, We have a friend that is a multi-millionaire that actually went to a wedding there in July. I had him report back with a full review and he had nothing but good things to say. He said that he liked the food and that they had excellent service. He's a very picky person so I was happy to hear that he really enjoyed his stay. As for the guest pass, about half of my guests are staying at different hotels and I was able to work a deal with my WC to waive the fee for the day of the wedding and pay the standard price as I would be doing for hotel guests. I'm sure that you can work something out with your WC. Also, I'm not sure if you have a photographer but you should check out Jim Kennedy Photography. They are located in So. Cal and I used them for my BD shoot. There work is amazing. Let me know if you have any questions. Jess

Melissa and Erika, I'm soo excited for you guys!!! I spend the whole weekend shopping in LA for the trip then I came home and started packing. Also, I finally got my dress back and the alterations came out perfect. It looks so nice on!!! I'm meeting with my photographer tomorrow and spending the rest of the week putting together my favor tags, menus, welcome letters, and programs. There is still so much to do!!! Jessica

I'm getting married in about three weeks and I plan on taking wedding favors, etc. I'm a bit worried about customs but I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I don't have any issues. I will let you know how it goes. Jess
