That actually works out better. Who did you speak with? Did you have to do a lot negotiation? Thanks, Jess
  2. Congrats!!!! I'm sure that your wedding will be beautiful. Enjoy every moment. Jess

Our music ended at 10:30 and we rushed to plug in our ipod in our little portable player to at least have some background music, but it's not the same as having the DJ system for everyone to dance to. DJ Ricardo is already booked but I did send DJ Mijares an email to see he's assistant can DJ the last hour. What time did your reception end? Jess

  7. Your pictures came out great. I especially love your pictures in the black corset and white slip. Where did you get your outfits? Jess

I spoke to him last week and he is booked on my wedding day. He might do an engagement session for me while I'm there so we talked a bit last Friday about pricing. Jess

Yes, he actually has a wedding to do for a really close friend so he was going to send his assistant but I wasn't too excited about that. He said that he would be able to come but only until 9:30pm. I didn't ask him if his assistant could DJ for another hour. I guess there is no harm in asking but he can't then I guess 9:30 it will be. Maybe I will bring the fire dancers to keep the party going. I'm not sure. Jess

How long did you book him for? Jess
  11. How exciting!!!! I'm looking forward to reading your review. The Sheraton was were I was initially going to have my wedding but I decided to change it to Dreams. Please post some pictures so that we can all enjoy. Jess
  12. Thank you guys for the info. I'm getting ready to sign my contract with DJ Mijares but he told me that he has to leave at 9:30 so I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do. Jess

We booked him for 5 hours for a wedding of 45 people and he took over 1000 pictures. We did not purchase an album, but you can always add that later if you change your mind. Every hour you add on to the minimum is an additional charge and I don't know if his hourly rates and charge for proofs have changed since I booked him last fall. Thanks for the info. Jess

Do you know what the cut off time is for Dreams? Jess

Did you purchase the package for 5 hours? Jess
  17. Brides, I tried searcing the forum but I couldn't find any information on how many hours of DJ service brides were or have used. I'm gettting ready to finalize my contract with DJ Mijares and I'm trying to determine how many hours to hire him for. I would love some feedback. Jess
  18. Hi Girls, I just thought I would pass along some information regarding Sunrider Tours. I have just booked a private cruise tour with them and I am paying $40.55pp with a guarantee of 40 people. For every additional person, I will pay $35pp and children are half price. Also, there is a public tour that you could use Vouchers that saves you about $15pp so your cost per person is about $30. The vouchers have to purchased through Los Cabos Guide. Below is the link: Cabo San Lucas Prepaid Voucher Discount Program - Discounts Available The only downside is that they will not reserve a section of the boat for your party. Los Cabos Guide offers vouchers for different vendors so for those brides looking for some discounts I would definitly check out the link. Jessica
  19. Do you have your contact person at Sunriders? Thanks, Jess
  20. What are Juan Carlos prices? I called him several months ago and he quoted me $6,000 for 8hrs and that didn't include the album. Is this still his prices?
  21. Very well done. Did you have any issues with the your reception location and hotel guest traffic? Jess
