I ordered mine in December and it arrived in the beginning of March.. the bridal shop told me it could take 3-6 months.

I agree with Desiree (lol.. as always) - I would absolutely do a metallic shoe as your accent color. Then perhaps echo that metallic in jewelry and some other small accents in the wedding (candle holders, etc). Personally, I love natural color combinations for a beach wedding; allows for the setting to really shine.

That dress is perfect on you!!!! I love it. The shimmering fabric makes your skin just glow and I do agree with the others; it looks better on you than the model. Congrats!!!!

You can buy thank you notes from any stationary store OR make some photo ones up on any photo website; there are tons referenced on here if you do a search. Other than that, thank you notes are just that... If they attended an event only; it's "Thank you for coming, it meant a lot to us" and if applicable reference something personal that may have happened or was meaning full between you. If they bought you a gift, then you reference the specific gift; how you may use it, etc.. if they bought a gift and attended; combine the two. It's simple. =)

I do not think it's tacky at all! That being said, I agree with the others that not a lot of people are very technically literate or are more traditional and may be offended by not getting a 'formal paper' invitation. Absolutely, check with your family to make sure that is not the case ... and if it is and you still want to go green; make the paper invitations as green as you possibly can by using friendly paper and inks.

I agree with everyone else. I would not put anything regarding gifts on your invites; we did mention in our pre-travel newsletter in the welcome paragraph the "Your presence is present enough" without specifically mentioning gifts. And it is implied that that you understand that not everyone can make it ...

She is also contradicting what the other WC's promised to me; so I am just sending her the emails that I have confirming certain details that she is disputing. From everything I have heard - they take care of everything when you get there and meet with them. So, please try not to stress! I am a planner; so it's been hard for me not to have all my details nailed down months in advance - but I guess I have to learn to work on island time and just have faith LOL. If they still aren't getting back to you and you are truly concerned; on the Dreams forums there is a woman named Baltobabe (I think others have mentioned her on here) - contact her and she will help you get everything and anything straightened out. They did send me a picture of the cake that comes complimentary with my package; so if you want to see that - just let me know!

I don't know much about Casa de Campo ... but I am getting married at Dreams PC. We chose it based on the combination of affordability, quality and complimentary wedding packages. I agree with the other ladies; I cannot recommend highly enough to talk to a travel agent. There are some fabulous ones right here on this forum that you can talk to. Those are gorgeous and the colors are fabulous! I LOVE Etsy too; it is the best.. I used it before wedding planning a little bit; but now I have bought so much for the wedding on there and love how the sellers can customize things to make it your own!
