  1. I love #2.. but it's hard to say what would look better w.out seeing your dress!
  2. I agree with everyone else... if they chose to not stay at the resort; then its up to them to pay for their day pass. It's really that simple.

I found this site Personalized Engraved Wedding Guest Book, Signature Frame & Mat, Engraved Tray & Platters -but I don't know if their photo frames are cuter than the regular photo frames. What do you think Those look cute! It's just hard online to be able to tell. I would definitely check out the places the other gals mentioned to see if you can find one. I think my sister got hers at Michael's at it was on an easel like you want. Quote: Originally Posted by Amarillis A lot of the mattings that I saw were made from super heavy cardstock! 6. Well, everyone on here is probably going to recommend their own resort. LOL. I am doing mine at Dreams Punta Cana.. everything you want is included at no charge if you stay for 7 nights in a honeymoon category suite except for the pictures. Take a look at them as well.
  7. Hmmm.. I would talk to a TA as they can probably give you more options. But at first thought, I did a quick google search for you and found this article which should help No Passport Required Caribbean Travel

But it's also really fun to get things in the mail, especially for something exciting like a wedding. If you are going to do it in an email, I would send the 2 emails separately (i.e. send the one asking for information now, and then a month from now send the pre-travel brochure). If you make the pre-travel brochure separate I think you can make it more of a fun email. I completely agree with Heather! Just make sure though that everyone has access to email and that they check their email. I have some family that is quite old school and doesn't use email .. some friends that never check their emails.
  9. Ooohh.. Alyssa! Yours is amazing too.. Thank you so much for sharing ladies!!!!! I am starting to get very inspired now!

I loved my bd photog and her style, and I love when others enjoy it as well, so thanks! That is a super cute idea.. thanks Carly!! Quote: Originally Posted by Amarillis OOOOHHH I'll Play!!!! The next day I had my sister's boyfriend 'messenger' the locked box to our suite where FI was getting ready. His reaction was priceless... the pro-photographer took fantastic shots of his reaction. On the inside of the book the first page read the following: C, This is your new black book, at the end of the day today you'll have no use for your old little black book. You may remember a special emergency trip to Toronto, where I disappeared for an entire afternoon? In the pages to come the mystery will be solved, leaving us free of any secrets. I know that you would never expect it, "I was the girl with the business degree, probably wouldn't recognize me". You tell me I'm gorgeous everyday, and after putting this together for you, I think I agree - I'm pretty hot actually! See you at the end of the aisle... Ill be the one in the white dress, wearing blue panties... I love you, A. He was definately surprised.... Hope this provides some inspiration! OMG!! Yours is the one that inspired me to do the BD book. I saw it in your planning thread and LOVED the idea of the 'little black book'. And, I love the Kenny Chesney lyrics sprinkled throughout; I am a HUGE country music fan. I may steal a bunch of your ideas!
  11. I agree with Carly and the others ... I don't think a sash would work with that dress. I would absolutely have your seamstress look at it and tailor it closely to your waistline.

I keep going back and forth between the "For Rich's Eyes Only..." and the "Rich's New Little Black Book" so far.
  13. What size are you looking for Desiree? I found this site which customizes the size according to the number of guests you have. Wedding Signature Frames and Guestbook Frames are unique wedding frame ideas. We offer personalize signature photo gifts and frames for wedding anniversary

Thanks Our guests are paying $886 per person/$1772 per room per night based on double occupancy for a 7 day stay in a deluxe room. It works out something like $126.57 per person/per night or $253.14 per room/per night based on double occupancy. Our rate is the all inclusive one and includes transport to and from the hotel. If I were you, I would absolutely go through a TA for this resort. The rates the WC at Dreams PC quoted me were higher than what my TA got for us.
  15. I just saw this Jamie!!! I am glad you are feeling better.. I have had random freak outs ever since we got engaged. They range from WTF am I doing getting married.. to I have sooo much to do and noone will help me.. to no reason at all, just because I am feeling emotional. And mind you, I am not usually an emotional girl; but wedding planning seems to have brought it out in me!

  17. You can absolutely do them after the ceremony while your guests get a start on the cocktail hour. Personally, FI and I will take pictures before the ceremony bc we want to hang out with our guests during the cocktail hour. Our photog is helping us find a private place where I can walk up to him so we can be alone and he can capture the moment when he sees me in my dress.
  18. I agree with MarieSam.. definitely look the thread with everyone's dresses on it. You can also just search through this section of the forum; there are tons of posts of everyone's dresses they have tried on, bought, etc.. For me, I didn't know either; but I knew the dress I wanted when I put it on. You will find that there really aren't any rules when it comes to a DW; it's what you want it to be. I would go out and start trying on dresses. You will get a feel for what you like and what you don't ..
  19. I actually tried on that dress; it is stunning and so easy to wear! It was funny, the bridal shop had just gotten it in and was looking for someone in the sample size to try it on so they could see it on an actual person.. so I agreed to try it on for them. =) Congrats.. and honestly, I think that any color would look good with it. If you love a soft yellow then go for it.
  20. Try not to worry!! I looked for almost 6 months before I found my dress; I think that my BM's and probably a lot of the gals on here were about to kill me! I can't even tell you how many dresses I tried on and how many times I dragged my MOH shopping!!! I ended up with a Watters gown; it has a very low back, is super sexy and I am in love with it. I would highly recommend their gowns - Watters | Innovative Designer Gowns By Watters | Flash Intro Otherwise, I almost bought a Nicole Miller that was stunning and may work for you if you have cups sewn in. The back is open and it is a halter.. BRIDAL 09 - Nicole Miller Official Store It's style number CO0025; I can't copy the pic for some reason on the website.. but look through all her dresses on there; there a lot that I think would 'fit the bill' for you.
  21. You dress is stunning!!! I love the bustle; it suits the dress perfectly!

I did search and found lots of pics but no covers. =(
