  1. Your guys would melt in a tux. Try a lighter suit like other people have mentioned. The linen suits look pretty beachy still but a little more formal than just khakis and a white shirt. I did the white shirt/khaki look but my wedding ws super casual. Do what works for you and your groomsmen.
  2. Gorgeous pics Baj! You guys looked amazing! Glad your day was awesome. Looking forward to reading your review. Congrats!
  3. Congratulations! Beautiful pictures, the resort setting looks gorgeous!
  4. I went totally casual. That's my nature. We spent pretty much every day of our 2 weeks laying in the sun on the beach. Most of my attire consisted of bikini's, board shorts, sundresses and flip flops. I dressed up for one night (other than our wedding night) to eat at one of the al a carte's.
  5. Congrats! Sandals Negril looks amazing! DH and I wanted to go there for our first anniversary, however it looks as though we have to save our money for the impending twins instead! Ah well! You're sure to have an amazing time!
  6. I never got into WoW, but I played Everquest for quite a number of years with my ex-boyfriend and a bunch of our friends. Very addicting. I still think about going back to play a bit, but it's so time consuming. I stopped playing in 2005, but got the bug again and went back to EQ for a couple months in 2008. Lately I've been getting the bug again to play, but ugh! DH doesn't get it either -- he never played RPG's ever. He thinks I'm a bit of a nerd... I played the 2 week promo of WoW and thought it was pretty fun, but never bought the full game + expansions.
  7. I don't care for the look of option #2 or 3 -- that's just my opinon. I think #1 looks the best for sure! Spend the money for the better look!
  8. Welcome and Congrats! I'm from London too! Happy wedding planning!
  9. Mrs Martin -- 36F?? Oh my. That's no good. I wont be able to see my feet.
  10. There are a million threads regarding excursions in Jamaica. Most of them being closer to Ochie/Montego Bay. Try a search or peruse the Jamaica sub-forum!

  12. Andrea -- I did pretty much the same thing with DH's beer yesterday!! I told him to screw the champange after delivery I want beer! LOL I'll have to get some "near beer" for the summer just to make it through! I promise I dont have a problem... hehe. Stacey -- swollen boobs is the understatement of the century. I don't even recognize mine anymore. I've gone from a 34-36D to 38DD. YIKES. Erika -- I may have to buy stock in Lulu. I'll probably end up with a million pairs by the end of this pregnancy! All I want to wear is workout gear and lately I'm not looking so hot in it either.

Not that they needed to be any bigger... ugh. DH thinks it's wonderful. They hurt like crazy. He's on a look only, no touch policy. Quote: Originally Posted by jmb0902 I know! Haha, but hey, the food is just as good so I'll be having plenty of that! So I'll be MIA for a few weeks - good luck to those of you TTC and I'll see the rest of you mommies when I get back So jealous! Have an awesome time on your honeymoon!! Too bad you can't enjoy the wine in wine country! I miss beer BIG TIME.
  14. I'm a 36D and I went top commando with my strapless dress. I absolutely can not stand strapless bras and there was no way I was wearing a long line bra in the million degree humidity that is Jamaica. My place I bought my dress in said that with most strapless dresses that are fitted, there is no need for anything underneath. My girls were held up quite nicely, didn't think about it the entire day. However, I have read that some girls had cups sewn into their tops for extra support.
  15. Welcome and Congrats! Jamaica is beautiful! Lots of good info in the Jamaica forum -- head there! Good luck with your planning!
  16. Ya most of my friends didn't even bother to check our website out. I put the address on our invites, but apparently they didn't read the invite. Turds....
  17. Hey one of my friends said she couldn't afford to come to our wedding in Jamaica, but yet she had enough money to fly to Ireland for 2 weeks just after our wedding. Nice!
  18. Congrats! Have a great time on the rest of your trip!
  19. It's a bit of a hike from Illinois, but Algonquin Park, Killbear Park or Bruce National Park on the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario are all pretty awesome places to camp. Tons of stuff to do as well.
  20. I wasn't around for the first posting, but good find Carly! Etsy pretty much rules.
  21. Welcome and Congrats! I think all of us were overwhelmed when we first started planning. Jamaica forum has tons of resources -- check it out! Happy planning!
  22. LOL! Cool idea for a party! Great pics, I love all the pink! The "fun police" suck!
  23. You found the right place! Jamaica forum! There's tons of stuff there and there are a TON of ROR brides past and present. Congrats and happy planning!
