I just booked to have my make-up done at Nordstrom's before my BD shoot. Girls that have already done your shoots, did you have heavier make-up than you were used to, so it shows up nicely in the pics? Or do you just do it how you normally would? I don't want to look like a tramp, but also want to convey the sexy "pin-up" girl look. What do you all suggest?

I'm sorry you are having to deal with this too If you FORCE yourself to have a ceremony JUST because your mother wants you to, you will be miserable and will regret it. It's "silly" to say you won't consider someone married unless it's the way YOU want. Like others said, I'm sure she'll get over it! We're still deciding on the GM's attire as well. We JUST bought my FI's suit last night and want the guys to compliment him with what they wear. I LOVE your BM dresses! Sometimes you just need to step back, take a deep breath, and remember that this is supposed to he the HAPPIEST time of your life, and a Destination Wedding is supposed to eliminate stress, not add to it. DON'T let other people tell you what YOU are going to do on YOUR wedding day. You must stand your ground and convey to people that this is what you want and this is what you're gonna get!!!! Only YOU can stand up for yourself and take control of your own life. Smile, relax, and have FUN planning! Yes! We are sharing a room and having wild and crazy sex the night before we say "I-do" Sorry I just had to put that out there LOL! But I'll be doing "girl stuff" the day of the wedding, and he'll be doing "guy stuff". Then, we're having most of our pictures done BEFORE the ceremony, so we can capture "the first time we see eachother" as bride and groom in pictures! It will be incredibly special!

I just booked my Boudoir session!!!!!!!!! It was bizzare because right after posting this thread, this photographer (whom I was referred to from someone at work) called me and had GREAT prices! $50.00 sitting fee+ the pictures. I thought about booking a hotel room and was going to do my sisters pics, and she was gonna do mine, but I'm worried about the lighting, make-up ect. I would really like someone professional, but cannot afford $1,000 either!

I am having BOTH my parents walk me down the aisle, and instead of a father/daughter only dance, I'm having a father/daughter then switching to mother/daughter dance at the same time as my FI and his mom dance. I never understood why mom's were left out?
