    We booked ours for 5 hours. At first we weren't going to have any reception coverage, but decided to add it on. (We're doing the cake cutting, dances, garter ect, so I thought we would regret it if we didn't) Just make sure you aren't rushed!

    I agree with you 100%! I guess that's why soooooooo many Americans are in debt. You can't afford one thing so you put it on a credit card, then have to pay interest on that, then more stuff goes up in price so you take out another credit card ect....My FI and I try to avoid credit cards if at all possible. We each have our debit cards, and a shared credit card for "Emergencies" It's hard to save money when everything is going up, up, up! It's scary out there!

    You may be able to find beachy, or tropical looking gift bags. (I know you are trying to avoid bags, but bright colored gift bags would be cute) I'll keep thinking.....

    I have a WC in Colorado who does EVERYTHING for me and is WONDERFUL!. I haven't paid her a penny, besides the hotel room deposits. We are booking everything through her and then she makes a commission off of that. She even contacts the resort for me and answers all my questions that day. I'm not sure of the "norm" but this is how it is for me. I love my WC and would never trade her! Good luck!

    It's completely up to you on how much you spend on the BM gifts. I am spending about $150.00 for each BM. (I bought them engraved necklaces for the wedding and a gift certificate to the resort spa once we get to Mexico.
