But I've seen similar ones at Aldo. The dress in Jacquelin Exclusive spring 2008 collection. I bought it a year ago. i love the picture i'm putting together of you in my head right now... lol, sounds a little dirty, but you know what i mean. thanks for the details on your earrings!
  2. everything is beautiful!! i LOVE LOVE LOVE those earrings... do you mind sharing where you got them? i think i'm leaning toward no necklace, but you're right- it's a tough decision.
  3. I had a much better shopping experience when I went alone... it made it very easy to listen to my own feelings & find THE dress faster & without added pressure or stress. I say go for it!
  4. i ordered my maggie sottero in feb and it took about 4 months to get here. (it just came in). now i have to wait another 4 months before i start scheduling fittings... lol, oh well. better to have it early than stressing about it coming late.
  5. Hey Erin, Well I think your planning thread is one of my all-time favorites! I was sitting at work today thinking about matching flowers to my aqua BM dresses... and the picture of your wedding party came to mind. I logged some serious BDW time hunting it down, and I found this thread too. Whew... thanks for leaving all your pics linked. So now I'm wondering if you remember where you got your GM shirts? I'm having a really tough time matching men's shirt to our tiffany colored dresses, and your wedding party looked fantastic! Hopefully I can pull off something similar. Thanks!! -Aimee
  6. 4 oral surgeries, but i'm not really sure if they count... getting 4 baby teeth pulled (5th grade) then another 3 (5th/6th grade) then getting a chunk of gum cut out so that an adult tooth would grow (7/8th grade) & getting all 4 impacted wisdom teeth out (age 22) when i was 22 i was told i had the teeth of a 16-18 year old, lol.

Aimee - I didn't know you are already legally married, congrats! thanks! i was married when i first joined the forum- sneaky right? we were married right after i graduated (Dec 2007, married in Jan) & moved to madison, wi for my "real" job. at that point we'd been engaged for about a month, so everyone thought i was pregnant. silly family! but we just wanted to tie the knot before moving in together & save up for a fantastic party in Mexico. plus it was a nice bonus to start my career with my married name-- it's a hard thing to get used to... i still forget sometimes. lol.

Did you ladies notice the new Maggies are on the web site? As usual, they are totally gorgeous! Check em out!! Search the entire collection of Maggie Sottero wedding gowns i can't resist! against my better judgement i'm going to have to check these out... i'll just have to keep reminding myself how much i love my dallas marie.
  10. i hope they make it, i've always been an a.simpson fan. & i guess as a side note, i was 22 on our legal day & will be 24 at our "real" wedding. when you know it's right why wait?

  13. well, i joined the following too! i watched the entire first season this weekend. lol, seriously. i got the first disc from netflix & then couldn't stand it & rented the other 4. (i had a pretty serious family video coupon so it was dirt cheap.) now i'm waiting for my library request to go through so i can start reading the books. i'm too cheap to pay for HBO, so i'll have to watch season 2 online. Can't Wait!!

  15. well after an "OMG! moment" i'm ready to share. i'm so excited!! Unveiled Portraits
  16. there are elements of both that i really like! but i'm swaying toward #1. it's so close for me... are there any other factors you are considering? are the prices similar? are they from the same salon, or is there a salon that is offering something the other isn't? i've been scrolling back up after almost every sentence i've typed, and i have decided that i am definitely voting for #1, but i like the neckline of #2... but that is something you can alter if you choose. Good Luck!
  17. great deal!! thanks for sharing. too bad i will be miles & miles from an old navy on saturday. hooray for memorial day weekend.
