Lilpaisley, My communication thus far has been with Diana. She sent me four documents yesterday in regards to questions I had. I have attached them below. I sent an email to the wedding coordinator, Keneika, to request pics of the Gazebo and Beach area in which weddings are held. Diana has asked that I be patient with Keneika because she has taken on additional duties with the new hotel opening. I was pleased to see that RMB has a dance club and it appears as if they may offer additional services (i.e. DJ services and chair covers with bows, etc). I will confirm with Keneika. I want to check with Keneika also to see if True Colors is the photographer for RMB and if Boulevard Florist is the florist for RMB. Since the time is quickly approaching I have so many questions. I would like to have everything planned and ready to go at least 1 month before the actual day so I can sit back and enjoy the fun during the wedding. Thank you for the post. I am anxiously awaiting photos (especially of the beach area and the gazebo-if RMB has one). On the website, RMB doesn't offer extras (like a DJ) so I sent an email to the coordinator to inquire.

Finally, after months of "number crunching" and calling local vendors, FI and I decided that a DW would be best. We will be married at the new RIU in Montego Bay on December 6th. Many of my current and former coworkers are aware that I will be getting married and while they will not be able to attend, they do want to know about my plans. One of my coworkers ask that I send him an invite eventhough he will not be invited because he wanted to buy something for us off of our registry. So, my questions is, what type of announcement/invitation/STD can I send to those who just want to know about our plans and wish to buy us a gift? Indigo

While doing my research on which destination location (Ocho Rios or Cancun) to choose, I ran across the following info on a Cancun website: "Mexican law prohibits the following practices: touching animals or coral reefs, collecting rocks, sand, seashells or any natural object in the water or on the beach. Those violating these laws may be prosecuted." I love collecting seashells at different beaches so I am SOOOOOO HAPPY I ran across this info. Just FYI

FYI.... Jamaica - Ocho Rios $99 per person per night Valid for stays from August 22 to October 2, 2008. Reservations must be made by May 30, 2008. I've been doing an exhaustive search on the best dates/location combo and I ran across this information. While I want to have a destination wedding, I really don't want the guest to have to pay $1500 per person to attend. HTH
