  1. Great topic. I was just searching for aisle runners the other day and ran across Custom Aisle Runners, Monogram Aisle Runner, Custom Personalized Wedding, Michigan, Nationwide. I love their monogrammed aisle runners but it seems to be a bit pricey than the ones discussed here. I will check out the wedding outlet now to see what options they have. Thanx.

  3. I can't get it to work so I posted the link to the photos until I get home then I can post the photos directly in the thread.

  5. Hello Ladies, I received more pictures from Keneika today. RMB hosted their first wedding on saturday (9/13) and Keneika took pics of how everything was setup. The first two are how the gazebo was set up and the last two is how Mahoe Bay was setup. My imagination is now running wild on how I can personalize the setup for our wedding. 6. Thank you Msasfraz, I will definitely use a variation of this pre-travel brochure for my guests.
  7. Just want to add a link to the original thread for reference purposes. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t28217
  8. Just wanted to share pics that I found on tripadvisor.com of Mahoe Bay and wider view of the beach gazebo. RMB - Gazebos.doc RMB-Mahoe Bay.doc

Welcome to the December thread! Sounds like you're on a roll! Ladies: I have been SO productive, even despite all this dumb drama. This past week I've made a few rhinestone tank tops (BM ones that are so cute!), worked on our OOT bags (Iron-on transfers) and started our pre-wedding brochure. My thought is that I want to send that out to everyone who is coming and those who haven't RSVP'd yet to get them in gear! (and to show them what a good time it'll be). Are all of you doing these as well? If so, when were yout hinking of sending them out? Pre-wedding brochures sounds like a great idea. Maybe we could use that to incorporate our "last call" for RSVPing message around mid October.
  10. It is such a relief to know that it is NORMAL for guest to procrastinate on RSVPing. I am running into the same issues as everyone else. My FI and I have decided not to worry. I will be sending out emails and postcards next week reminding everyone of the deadline. I will send out a "last call" email around mid October and then we will finalize our list of guest.
  11. Hi Ladies, Just checking it. I, too, am a December bride. My FI and I will be wedded on December 6th at RIU Montego Bay in Jamaica. I have TONS of things left to do. We have mailed and emailed invites. Our website is up and ready. 17 people have booked thus far. The WC and I have been communicating daily. I have ordered RSVP reminder postcards from Vistaprint to be mailed on or around September 24th. But my "To Do" list is still 3 pages long. I hope to be down to a page and a 1/2 by the end of September.
  12. Wow...thank you Lilpaisley. I was confused because of the date above the video but the webshot is very clear. So, Mahoe Bay is 2 levels? I hope to be receiving pics of the inside and out of Mahoe Bay soon from Keneika. As well as wider shots of the gazebo. Are any of you ladies considering renting the disco/nightclub?
  13. Ladies, I don't see it. There is a video dated August 27th. Is that the one? Are those pics of RMB? Please help.

They have some great videos on YouTube of the resort!! We have the same timeline as you. I'm still trying to come up with something to do in between the end of the ceremony and dinner. One of my coworkers said I will be busy taking photos during that time. He got married two years ago in Jamaica and he said after the photo shoot he barely made it to dinner on time. I am still pondering that question. I don't want to do a cocktail right before dinner.
  15. I think I found a video on Youtube that gives a wider shot of the beach gazebo. YouTube - Riu Montego Bay View From The Beach
  16. We are using ewedding.com also and we have gotten a ton of compliments on how nice our website is. I love that you can add music, quizzes/trivia and they will convert it to a keepsake CD for you. It is verrryyyy easy to use.

Lilpaisley: Yes, I would love to have an RMB thread like the ROR thread. This resort is so new that it would be a great resource for all future brides to be. Trice: We haven't chosen yet. I am going to ask Keneika for a wider shot of the two gazebos so that I can see which would be best. Right now, we are leaning toward the Plaza gazebo if it will be more private. Also, I am waiting for pics of the steakhouse "Mahoe Bay" - inside and out. We are not having a big wedding party; but, I still would like to have a special layout for the ceremony and reception (if possible). TMclean: I will send you the attachments after work today. In regards to chairs with bows, for RMB, Keneika stated that it would be $13.98 each; however, prices can change without notice. I will be speaking to Keneika about this so we can get a firm price for budgeting purposes.
  18. I am sooooo excited. Keneika sent me pictures of the beach and plaza gazebos. The first one is the plaza gazebo and the second is the beach gazebo.
  19. Lilpaisley, I think you are right. I guess I will have to patiently wait until Keneika sends me pics.
  20. I received another email from Keneika today. She informed me that weddings are held at the beach gazebo or plaza gazebo. She stated she would get back with me on the cost for chair covers and bows. However, she did not include pics of the beach or plaza gazebos. But, when I looked at the picture in RMB Fact sheet on their website, it looks like the beach gazebo is to the far right in the picture. Check out the RMB Fact sheet that I found on their website. Also, according to the RMB Fact sheet the Steakhouse "Mahoe Bay" is poolside. Hotel Riu Montego Bay Fact Sheet.pdf
  21. Thank you...thank you...thank you. My wedding date is getting so close and I don't won't to get overwhelmed with 'things to do'. There are several templates I will be using/modifying.
  22. Hello Ladies, I received an email from Keneika confirming my wedding date and time. The email also ask that I respond with which time I would like my reception. The reception will be at the Steak House at either 6:30-8:30 or 9:00 - 11:00. I think the last reception is 9:00 pm - 11:00pm. They only offer two slots. I chose 6:30 - 8:30. She also sent info on extras (i.e. renting the disco, private reception, etc). I have attached the docs she sent me below. I still haven't received pics of the Gazebo or beach area yet. I will try calling her today to see if I can get pics. I also ask that she clarify the cost of chair covers with bows. Still no answer on that either. But, I will be patient because I understand that they probably have their hands full with the grand opening. When I get more info I will be sure to update everyone. 23. TMclean, I hope to find out if the services are applicable to RMB and if the prices are valid soon. I am awaiting a response from Keneika.
