And if his friend goes through women like tissues and I'm sure she is aware of this how does she even know that she will still be around. I'm glad your sticking to your guest plan.     My dad works for Verizon as well and I heard him mention this the other day. He's also the only income coming into my parents home. Hopefully it goes over well.

    Ok I called the Cold Stone near my house and I've decided I'm going to order a 8" Cake Better Confetti. It's layers of red velvet cake (my favorite), cake batter ice cream and rainbow sprinkles wrapped in white frosting. It has chocolate pieces on top but I don't want those. I just want it to say Happy Birthday. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. I think I'm more excited about the cake than my birthday lol. I've posted a pic below for your and my viewing pleasure

    Oh you poor thing. How horrible of that woman. She knew when she sent the dress home with you that it wasn't right. I don't get some of these seamstresses. I swear it's like they don't care. But I do second the going to the owner and complaining. You trusted them to alter your dress and they didn't do it right. They messed up and should be held responsible. I'm sorry to hear about your mom I know it's tough not having her here for your special time. I hope everything goes well.

    Welcome to the forum!!! I'm also a 2010 bride and I know exactly what you are going through right now. It was a little frustrating for me at first but once I picked out a resort things calmed down a bit. For now I'm just making a scrap book of ideas (dresses, cakes, etc) that I like and it's definitely been keeping me busy until I can start some serious planning. But don't worry things will come together soon.

    Oh I am so glad you posted this. I have the worst time finding jeans. Since have a small waist and big booty it makes it really tough to find jeans that fit. I'm on my way to the wevsite right now thanks for posting!

    Two years until our wedding and I feel like a sitting duck lol. I have seen so many different ideas and I can't wait to put them to use. I guess I just need to be patient but its so hard. My time will come. Pretty soon I'll be wishing I had this much free time on my hands. For now I need to focus moving. I've got a lot to do in a short amount of time. So my project for now is moving and then in a couple months I'll focus more on the wedding. I can't wait!!!

    My birthday is in two weeks and I was looking for an alternative to a traditional birthday cake. For years I have wanted to get an ice cream cake and I think I'm going to get one this year. So my question is have any of you ladies tried the ice cream cakes at Cold Stone Creamery and if you have were they good. Thanks!!! Update on page 3!!!
