Still no FI yet . And he's not answering his cell. (Sigh) I thought he would have been here by now. This waiting is killing me. I'm so on edge right now it's not even funny. I keep trying to find things to keep me busy but it's not working.

LOL. I know exactly what you were talking about. I just watched it the other day. I know he won't care. He probably won't even notice that I did my hair but that's a man for you. I just can't wait until he gets here!!!! I'm sleepy but I'm too excited to sleep.

Just talked to my FI and he's on the road. He's about 5 hours into his long drive home. I wish he would have let me know he left. Oh well. But atleast my hair is done lol. I just finished it. Now I need to take care of nails and toes. I better hurry because tomorrow morning will be here before I know it.

Thanks ladies for sharing in my excitement. I can't wait until he get's here (when ever that may be). I'm definitely going to start the glamour process tomorrow just in case he pops up on wednesday. I don't want him to catch me in a t-shirt and sweats even though I know he won't care. I just want to look special when he sees me for the first time. Ok I saw that you said that your FI likes cookies and then you mentioned a cookie cake. Well I found some ideas for you: You could get your FI's favorite team put on a cookie cake. Or even a football shaped one. Hope this helps!

Your welcome. Until recently I didn't know what a groom's cake was either but once I found out I just had to get one. I can't wait to surprise him with a microphone shaped cake. My FI sings all the time so the microphone fits him perfectly. I know the Mario cake will be cute and I am sure he will be surprised. I also like the football cake. I thought about that too but I know he loves to sing more.

I plan on getting a groom's cake. I really want to get a microphone shaped cake (FI sings). I thought about putting the groom's cake next to the wedding cake but I want to surprise him with it. Men are just too much. I swear they forget everything. That sounds like some thing my FI would do. I know this year a week before my birthday he asked me now when is your birthday again. I was shocked. I don't know if he was serious or playing with me. Now I know to write things on a caledar so he won't forget.

I'm a 2010 bride. We are hoping to get married summer of 2010 but who knows that may change.

I also forgot to mention that another key to a great flat iron is to have great hair products to go along with it. A nice heat protecting product can also do the trick. I like to use Nexxus Heat Protexx Heat Protection Styling Spray 8.5 oz. or FHI Heat Hot Sauce. Hope this helps!!!
