well, the boy is with the Lord...the better place then the area where they dont even call 911 when they hear gunshots because they are so used to them. i heard that was the case about 911 not getting called right away. its just so sad that good people, especially children, have to exist in a world with so much darkness. i've got some serious questions for God when i meet Him!

i was always skeptical about meeting someone on-line...or even at church (because my dad went to church just to find a woman:) but im a skeptic about EVERYTHING! one reason i didnt try online match sites was because i didnt trust myself to pick a good man, i wanted to leave it in Gods hands to deliver the fellow in some mystical, magical way:) sooo, i ended up meeting him at work and turns out we went to the same church out of ALL of the churches in San Diego but we never saw eachother at church until after we met at work. so that was one way for me to see God's fingerprint on the one He chose for me. i have to be honest though! everytime i get annoyed with my "God sent", i always wonder what it would have been like to of been able to meet someone based on all of their interests and looks ect. (not that my husband isnt HOT! like you can online but im finding as time goes by, we change so much anyway, it probably wouldnt matter.

i vote jamaica! there has to be a reason ive never heard of punta cana until i found this forum...that wasnt meant to be rude. besides, my aunt has been everywhere and she always goes back to jamaica and visits their adult only resorts. overall, it really does depend on the individual...but i just wanted say what i thought.

Sorry for being so long winded-I'm just feeling a little frustrated and disappointed. i would have to say, dont sweat it! the small weddings ive shot, were the best to me because more time to focus on AMAZING romantic pics! and more money left over for a better photog, decor and dress too. i didnt even have a wedding, we got married at the courthouse. every couple and their life story is so different. our families happen to be so broken, it would not been a joy to of had them around to be honest. i would like to have a vow renewal some day on the beach in the sand, but for me personally, id rather be without the stress of all the hupla. being a photographer, i attend weddings all the time and can sometimes be a little envyous (like 1% of the "wonderful" people around but its our love and handful of super close true friends and close family members that matter to us most anyway. you can always have a reception with more people when you get back too:) not sure if that helped, i hope so. you know what too? people are just so freaked about the economy too, so i think its just the timing, not unpopularity:)

oh how i wish more brides would try color:) at least the shoes, you know?

i bet he'll miss you if you leave and if you did go, i wouldnt go back until you are married if possible so he'd be in a hurry to marry:) i know easier said than done with kids though!! love isnt all "feelings" anyway, its a choice. maybe he is expecting to feel hot sexy passion forever?? and if so, as we know thats just not all true love entails, only a part of it. thats why so many divorce, because the warm fuzzy feeling fades. i agree hes just really down right now because of the job situation and spending $ on the wedding just probably doesnt seem wise to him, just a deeper finacial hole. well, keep faith and pray for Gods will...whats meant to be will happen. i wish you your hearts desire.

another reason im not that into white and black for engagement pics is, theres plenty of white and black clothing on the wedding day, especially white and variety in color is great for pics framed on the walls and in albums...but i forgot to mention that before the shoot, sorry!! im sure they are great though!!! i cant wait to see!

from experience, pink will POP beautifully for the pics and it looks great on you! black is easy to photograph and its good to be able to switch outfits twice for an e-session:)

hi, i use bigblackbag.com for my site, if anyone is interested, tell them i sent ya! its more so for pics though and i design it using their templates. its like $17 a month i think. i only use paypal if my clients want to use a credit card. it all works for me:)
