Hi there, Thanks for the advice, I'll have to take a look, well.... I had it done when I was 16 (just started going out with my FI) I mean how stupid !!! anyway - it's also on my shoulder, the tattoo is his name, which I really regret doing now just because of where it is and I still get loads of greaf from people eg - " WHAT YOU GONNA DO IF YOU SPLIT UP ?" & "YOU CAN ONLY GO OUT WITH SIMON'S FROM NOW ON" ECT... ECT..., its not very nice at all and I just think that the photos would look better if it was covered up x

And at the end of the day memories and photos are all we have left, thanks x

Hi Kristi, this is something I've been thinking about recently, we are having the ultimate package which does include a photographer but I'm thinking of having an outside photographer as we would like something a little more in depth but it depends on what the costs of all the extras are going to add up to. The amount of guests are adding up too, more and more people are booking which is great but after the 20 people in the package you have to pay a price pp extra for bothe the meal and the cocktail hr, (I think we've got about 30 or so @ the mo) I've got some info on Claudia R who Paul had and a few other brides and another photographer Micheal Maurus, both look stunning. I think we are having the cocktail hr on the garden area and the sit down meal on the terrace or the Tower Lobby reception as there is somwhere to dance therefore not needing to pay extra for the dance floor, What are you thinking of doing ?? SHARE SHARE SHARE LOL XXX

Diana Hi Diana, You need to post as much as possible baisically to earn your points for opening attachments, I am also a 2009 bride, (Nov 2009) I am in contact with Daniella @ Dreams, her email is - [email protected] I know from previous brides that if your wedding is still a way off they tend to take their time getting back to you, If you stress in your email that you want to make sure you get a specific date, i'm sure she will get back to you sooner, good luck ! x

Excellent advice Katrina, great idea regarding the ice cube tray too !! Thank you so much for sharing your story, I will forward this info onto my future FIL Thanks again x

I don't know why I'm stressing about this because there really shouldn't be any problems, I think its the fact that if there were any problems it couldn't go ahead and this really scares me

Dreams Cancun Spa Items
JODEY replied to highheels's topic in Destination Wedding in Riviera Maya, Cancun & surrounding areas
Hi there, I have the info but I can't post it for some reason, If you want to PM me or give me your email, I will send it you with pleasure x -
Thanks for the support, I just hope others see it that way, Anyway like you say they're 95% sure that there shouldn't be a problem, all we can do is keep our fingers crossed, they say its got something to do with the altitude of the county and not nessecery the flying, I don't know ??

Hi Ladies, I wasn't sure really where to put this thread but seeing as though it relates to Cancun I thought this would be the best place. Has anyone got or know about Addisons disease ? My FI's dad has it along with a blood disorder which dosn't normally affect anything he does as he has medication but if he is sick the medication dosn't stay in his system and he can go down hill very quickly, he does travel but not long haul. I'm a little worried because they havn't book yet but I've got 20 people that already have, they say it should be ok but hes got to see a specialist, It would be awful if they couldn't come as Simon is an only child and he wants his dad to be his best man, Have we done the wong thing by booking before they know ? I know it sounds awful but we both really want a DW. What are your veiws ? And help, advice or info would be fab xxx

Hi there, I'm a Dreams bride too but not till November 2009 (I am a planner)lol! I was hoping that by booking this early I can smooth out all these rough areas but they don't seem to want to know untill a few months before, I do understand that they must be extreamly busy. So I have asked my TA to forward my emails to see if I get a quicker response and failing that I will call them. I am thinking of booking an outside photographer and they have said that if I book now thay will honour 2008 prices so I really need to find out what credit I will receive from the Dreams package so I can put that money towards the outside photographer. But hey I'm not happy if i'm not stressing about something lol Its my birthday today too WHOOP WHOOP PLENTY OF BEVERAGES CONSUMED TONIGHT YIIPPEEEEE !!

Hi Lucy, I would also like to do the meal for two on the beach maybe the day after the wedding, I'm not sure on the price of this either but if I found out I will let you know, if anyone does know anything about this it would be great to hear from them !

Yeah we have to rent the dance floor but thats ok. Daniella told me they provide lighting for the beach reception so I would guess same is true for the garden. For music we are bringing our ipod but also burning the music to cds. I have read that the ipod batteries burn out quickly during the daay/night so I want to have a cd back up and yes you have to pay for the sound system. I think it is $180 per hour. Yes if you get chair bows you get the use of them for the ceremony and reception for the one price. I asked Daniella that one recently. Hi Lucy, I love your idea of having the reception on the beach and dancing next to the water, sooo romantic !

I thought as your wedding gets closer they answer you back quicker. It's going on two weeks and still haven't heard from Claudia and I only have a month to go before out wedding. I don't have much confidence in Claudia and I wanted to contact Daniella but Claudia told me that I couldn't and that all my planning needed to go directly through her.
