Maura, this sucks! Her age should have nothing to do with this. Some people are married with kids by the time they are 22. She is really going to regret this when she gets older. I was a real b*tch to my family when I was that age and I think about it often and regret it. Hopefully she will come to her sense before it is too late and she ends up hurting you even more.

that's what i said. i mean we are leaving a month from today! i think he thinks it is tacky not to send a "real" invite.

Ryan and I sent our STDs around Christmas. Our (my) plan was to write a letter around this time telling people different things, you know what i mean, things like what the guy picking us up at the airport will wear, things like that. I also wanted to include things about security screenings at the airport as most of our guests don't often travel. I told Ryan tonight that I was going to do this tomorrow and he said "why don't we just send invitations?" I told him that we cannot order them this late. I guess we could just get generic ones and fill in the blanks. I think this is silly because our guests are already booked so they obviously know that they are invited. He has mentioned invitations before, I asked him tonight if he is bothered because we did not send "real" invites and he said I don't know. What do you ladies think? To send or not to send, that is the question!

the ice bowl was also my by my SIL. she used a big stainless steel bowl, put a smaller stainless steel bowl inside of it. Filled water around it, put a brick in the center of the small bowl and then dropped oranges around the rim. It lasted for a long time, too.

The watermelon fish was made by my SIL, she said that it was really easy, she made three of them, actually! She found out how to do it on the internet somewhere, i will try to find it for you.

Girls, I hate to say it but, I quit! As some of you know, I lost seventeen pounds since January. I had my fitting on Thursday and my dress needed to be taken in about 2 inches. I will continue to try to firm up but I really do not want to lose more weight until after the wedding. GOod luck!

My shower was on Sat too and I was also nervous! I hate all that attention but it turned out to be so much fun!

My sister is my MOH and my sister-in-law (bro's wife) is a bridesmaid and they planned everything with the help of my mom. My FSIL is also a bridesmaid but lives in Cali and did not really help. My BMs and my mom went above and beyond in their decorations! It was so awesome! I cannot believe how great it looked! Everyone called our house yesterday to say it was the nicest shower they had ever been too! YAY! We played some great games. One was where everyone got a Lei and then if anyone said Ryan or Jamaica, then people could take it from them. The person with the most won. We also played who knows the bride best. And they also cut up various tropical fruit and had people guess what they were. That was fun because they put things like kiwiberry and different things like that, which most people have never tried. Then there was a game where my sis named a bunch of things to make people guess beach-themed movies or tv shows. It was great. I hope that the pics come out so that you guys can see how talented my family is, I was so proud of them!
