Thanks ladies!! I'm going to the movies shortly to see Fred Claus (I Love Vince Vaughn!). We're doing dinner downtown tonight and then out for drinks. It just started snowing though so hopefully it stops soon. I hate winter!

Around here Sunday brunches cost about $18-22pp. My aunt and cousin are throwing my shower for me as they insisted. My BMs (I only have 2) will probably be helping with setting up or something like that, but won't be contributing $ wise. We also always do a spiked and non spiked punch so there is no need for an open bar. Did anyone else in your or you FIs family offer to throw a shower for you? If they did maybe you can just have your bridemaids help out with the other stuff so they don't have to spend so much. Otherwise, what if you just picked a restaurant with a private room and ordered appetizers, cake or dessert and had pitchers of soda, beer and/or wine for drinks. That should keep the cost per person down since you won't be having an elaborate meal and you should still be able to find a place that is architecturally what you prefer?

There is a cute toy by Lamaza I think it looks like a bouquet of flowers and if you tap them they light up and make noise. Little People are also a big hit for 1 year olds. They have a farm set and the animals make sounds and have hair. I just bought it for my little cousin for Christmas. Books are a good item too.

I would say spend the money on the foundation/powder and eye shadow. I am personally not a fan of MAC foundation or powder, but I love their eye shadows. I also love Max Factor mascara which you can get at Target or pretty much any drug store.

I would just do an email. Or if you want to send more pictures send out a link to your website so people can see/read all the details without having to download pics.

As the other ladies have said, they are usually more informal. They may be more comfortable asking you questions about the day to day responisbilities and culture of the team than asking the manager. Be honest, tell them the good and bad of the job so they have a clear picture of what the job is like. This will also help you see how they react to know if they will fit well in your work environment.

If you are having diamonds in the wedding band you could probably get away with white gold. You should try them on together, and see if you can see a difference. Platinum will change color after awhile and the white old may look more yellow once it is time to get it dipped so there may be a more noticeable difference at that point. You could always wear your engagement ring on your right hand and the band on the left so it really wouldn't matter since they won't be next to each other.

I love them! I was just in Vegas over Halloween, and it was the first time I've seen the Wynn finished. It is a beautiful hotel.

Can your fiance be the one to tell them that you don't want a shower? My FMIL wanted to throw us an engagement party and I didn't want one. My FI told her we didn't want an engagement party because we just want people to come to the wedding. I think she was kind of upset, but didn't have the party.

I want to go to Cayman sooo bad. We wanted to have our DW there, but decided against it because of the cost. Do you have any pictures you can post?
