  1. Thanks for sharing. I am getting married at the Iberostar and seeing the pictures makes me want to go right now!
  2. All your stuff looks great. I can't even begin to think of what my favorites are because I truly love everything. I love your bouquet, the flowers for the gazebo(which I may have to steal!), your dress, jewelry, literally everything! I hope you have a fabulous time!
  3. I haven't been there, but it was still under construction when we started planning. I figured it was going to be way out of our price range so I never bothered to look into it further. It looks beautiful!
  4. I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope the doctor will be able to find out what happened.
  5. Have a great trip and a fabulous wedding! Congratulations!

I truly enjoy getting people a gift to start their lives off or upgrade to nicer stuff but I'm not so much down with getting every friend that gets married multiple gifts for each party they throw up to the wedding. Not at this financial standpoint in my life! I have always given a gift for the shower, and money for the wedding. I was always told you should give at least enough $ to cover your plate(s). Around here that can be up to $80-150 pp depending on the place so it adds up. I usually spend around $50-100 for the shower gift depending on how closely related.
  7. I would wait until you get your wedding band to see how it fits with that. You might not need to get it resized again.
  8. My dad isn't giving us a dime for the wedding, and FI's parents aren't giving us any $ to help pay for the wedding, but did say they are giving us a good amount as a wedding gift to put towards our house downpayment. However, to be fair I think we are going to give both sides a framed family portrait from the wedding, and a photobook of all the wedding pictures as our gift to them. Obviously, it will not be something we will be able to give them at the wedding.
  9. So cute. The food and drinks look yummy!

Like I said, I've never made it, but I've heard good things about it. I like Glenda's cupcake idea as well. How cute are they! I've had the diet coke cake and it tastes really good. You can "frost" the cake with fat free cool whip.
  11. I would say I am more of a jogger, but it is really a great workout. I don't think I would ever be able/want to do a marathon, but I do like to do the short races. They always have a bunch in the city throughout the summer/fall.

Britney Spear's in the zone CD is a good workout mix, and anything else that is upbeat. I cannot listen to slow music when I work out, I need fast booty shakin stuff.
  13. They will love it! Very nice. My mom used to cross stitch all the time and tried to teach me, but I have no patience.

  15. Hard to tell in these pics because I couldn't use a flash and my camera sucks, but Odette Yustman (Nick's girlfriend on October Road if anyone watches) is sitting in the diner in the back along with Cam G something-who by the way is incredibly HOT! Me & Mike freezing!
  16. The set up. This is how they made the rain.
  17. I was wondering where they filmed 10 things I hate about you. I liked that house! FI found out more info, and unfortunately no Johnny Depp. It is a horror movie. Here is some info: "Meagan Good (One Missed Call), Carla Gugino (Sin City, Rise), Jane Alexander (The Ring), Idris Elba (Prom Night, 28 Weeks Later, The Reaping) and Rhys Coiro (Last House on the Left) are joining a rabbinical Gary Oldman (Backwoods) and a haunted Odette Yustman (Cloverfield) in Rogue Pictures' supernatural thriller Unborn. Platinum Dunes' Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are producing writer-director David Goyer's tale of a girl (Yustman) tormented by the soul of a boy who died in the Holocaust. Good will play the girl's best friend, and Gugino has been cast as her mother. Alexander will play a Holocaust survivor whose brother's spirit is returning. Elba will play a priest who helps Rabbi Oldman perform exorcisms. Coiro is the college professor of Yustman's character, and Cam Gigandet will play her boyfriend. Principal photography begins March 5 in Chicago. "
  18. So my FI called me at work and said they are all kinds of trailers and lights and stuff being set up across the street from our house at this diner. I guess they are going to be filming a movie scene around midnight. He didn't know what movie and hasn't seen any celebs yet, but I did hear Johnny Depp was in town. So you better believe I am going to out there tonight with my camera!
