  1. First off, Happy Birthday Sandra!!! I'm just 5 days behind you, on the 10th JUNE 10th: Independent and dominant, you tend to be the alpha dog in most situations. You're very confident, and hardly anything ever shakes you. Mundane tasks tend to drain you - you prefer to be making great plans. You are quite original. When people don't "get" you, it bothers you a lot. Your strength: Your ability to gain respect Your weakness: Caring too much what others think Your power color: Orange-red Your power symbol: Letter X Your power month: October I agree with a lot of that except "Hardly anything ever shakes you".

I had withdrawal symptoms like this several years ago after getting off Paxil (horrid drug!). I felt like I was having electric shocks all over my body, and I had waking dreams (really creepy). Martin just got off of a different SSRI (Lexapro) about 2 months ago and is still having what he calls "brain spasms". All these drugs are SCARY! Has your Aunt been on anything like this? I can't believe this is happening - how could they have discharged her while she was still having these symptoms?!?!?! That's making me mad so I can only imagine how you guys are feeling. I'm so sorry. I hope everything is OK and that it is a reaction to a med. Did they tell the hospital doctors that the primary doc thought it might be med related??

So far, looks like July 12th works the best - I probably should have made the poll to where you can select multiple dates. Oh well, we'll get this figured out somehow! If you want your man to come with you please post "YES", if you don't please post "NO" Thanks! I look forward to meeting all of you ladies
  4. *EDIT* We've ended up having to change the date a few times but the final date it set for the evening of Saturday, August 16th. Be there or be square! OK so I know we talked about this awhile back but we need to get it together! Look how many meetings some of the other groups have done... we need to catch up! So how about this, I'm just going to set a place. (I figure the fewer options we have the more realistic that we all end up getting together! ) Since we're coming from all over the metroplex (from Ft. Worth to Denton!) I say we meet in Uptown Dallas. How about Primo's on McKinney?? I'll check to see if they take reservations. If not we may have to move it somewhere else since we're looking at a Saturday evening. I'm going to try and post a poll to narrow the best date down... Let's see if this works

Honestly I don't really know what you mean by a formal shot. And really I have no clue what it will be like. It will be in the new gallery which has just been completely gutted for the big remodel - that's about all I know! My Dad did say that he is going to wear nice jeans and a nice "western" style shirt... "rock n' roll" as he calls it lol I was mainly just looking for those advice tips on "how to look 10 lbs lighter" if ya know what I mean
  7. P.S. If you need any models for the Arboretum shots Martin and I are always game!

  9. WOW Jessica - you did a fantastic job! I really love your super informative information packets for your guests - they are going to feel like they are in a "Dream"... ok that was cheesy wasn't it
  10. I love the 3rd Iowa shot and the 2nd Arboretum shot! Followed closely by the 3rd Arboretum shot and the last one of Downtown - nice work Maria!!!
  11. Wow Celina - I am so sorry!!!! I am sending out supporting and healing vibes to you all! Please keep us updated...
  12. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I just found out that I will be participating in a photo shoot for a magazine tomorrow (not exactly sure which one, I think Modern Luxery...). We will shortly be closing down our current gallery (Reflection Fine Art Gallery | Dallas, Texas) and partnering with Phil Romano (of Romano's Macaroni Grill, Eatzi's, etc...) on an AMAZING new gallery - The Samuel Lynne Gallery The name is a combination of Phil's son Samuel and ... ME! We are both our father's only children. (isn't that sweet of them??) It's funny because "IRL" I normally just go by Jaime but now with the new gallery I will officially be going by Jaime Lynne. At least y'all will already be accustomed to it ANNNNNNYWAYS... Since Phil and my Dad are both pretty well known here in Dallas the magazines have been competing to get the first story on this, and I've been invited to participate! How neat! I know we have some great photographers on here and I was wondering if you can give me any "tips" on how to look my best in a professional photo shoot. Are there any particular poses or ways to hold your face that are more flattering than others?? The shoot is at 9:30AM tomorrow (Thurs.) and I just found out tonight. I have no clue what I'm going to wear and don't know if I'll actually end up in the spread but if I do you know I'll post pics here!
  13. Darn, I was actually in first place earlier but managed to slip down to 2nd... it's ON girls!
  14. Courtney, you make such a BEAUTIFUL bride! I love your hair color and your skin is amazing! I love the pic of y'all scrunching your noses - sooooooo cute
  15. OMG your review had me and FI cracking up - you're hilarious! I'm so sorry to hear about the sailboat () and the bumpy waters!!!!! We were just there the 18-22. It didn't rain at all but storms did seem to be lingering. I do remember the ride to LC was definitely more rocky than in December and I almost got seasick Other than those bumps in the road it sounds like you had a fabulous wedding! You look beautiful!!!!

Our house faces east/west and the setting sun shines right into our living room/kitchen. It's terrible! But those screens help so much. Lol! I'm like solar screen advocate now. Everyone should get them...Stat!!! ;-) Solar screens huh? Martin wants to install solar panels on our roof and then sell the extra energy to TXU or something like that... I just pretend to understand what he's talking about...
  19. OOPs, sorry that's so freaking HUGE. I took it from myspace...

  22. PHEW! It is HOT outside already! Weather.com says 94 - feels like 99! Last summer was fairly mild but it looks like this one's already gearing up for full force. Aye yi yi. I'd better make friends with someone who has access to a pool STAT! lol
  23. That's cool that they're undergoing another renovation. Sounds like you like the hotel, so that's good. Thanks for the info.
