  1. LOL when I saw this I thought it was going to be a post about me. Nice to see another J-A-I-M-E out there!!!!! Welcome!

  3. Hi! I don't really have any good shopping advice but I know some of the other PV brides will chime in. I just wanted to say hi to a fellow Dallas/PV bride
  4. Thanks ladies! Man, it's crazy looking back at those picks - I've lost 10 lbs since then
  5. Martin has been asking about if an extra room will be provided for him the night before the wedding. Since we're not planning on getting married at the hotel we're staying at, it won't - we'd need to purchase it I'd assume. So I am gathering that he likes this tradition. It will be so hard since we've hardly spent a night apart since we've been together, but I think it would definitely add to the excitement. Who knows tho. At this point I'm not sure if he thinks that's what he's "supposed" to do or if it's something he really wants. If he really wants that (he doesn't ask for much!) then I'll definitely do that for him.

Yes, definitely post pics! We're going in December now instead of August so I will be anxiously awaiting your reviews
  7. Photography is very important to us. Also, travel expenses and the wedding ceremony/reception.
  8. I LOVE that dress on you!!!! Seriously, it is stunning - the back is soooooo beautiful. Perfect for a beach wedding. Maybe your sister was just thinking more traditional. Honestly, I think it's PERFECT and one of my favs I've seen so far.
  9. Aweee, that is a very sweet story! I love those
  10. OMG That shot of Vincent is AWESOME! Mannnnnnnn I miss Playa! This is totally random, but do you know if there is still a bar around called the "Tequila Barrel"? A family friend's son opened it a few years back. We don't really know him but we stopped in there one day. It was kinda neat to see a Texas twist in Playa
  11. Oooh you have Elizabeth Medina, great choice!!! (I'm in love with her work right now ) Can't wait to see the dress, glad you found it!
  12. My friend had a male photographer do a nude pregnant session with her. She took her sis with her and had no problem. The guy was a friend tho. Martin (my FI) said he'd feel weird tho if I told him that I had a guy shoot my BD photos...

Not only would it be a great celebration to her, but that way your FI can still have his own special day to celebrate his bday.
  15. Welcome to the forum - there's lots of great advice on here!

I don't know what I'd do ~ I don't have much up top to show off so I'd probably get something to push 'em up. I have a nice black girl's butt tho - Martin seems to love it I'm thinking some cute little black lace boy shorts. 19. That is weird. Is it possible another member of the band sent you that message? That just sounds out of place - if he meant to do that, I don't get it. I'd be pretty P.O.'ed as well.

LOL!!! I have another question - is it typical to do nude shots or are you generally somewhat covered up in lingerie? It's hard to know since obviously we wouldn't be seeing any of the nude shots on here but it seems like ppl have alluded to that. I know it's up to you how far you are comfortable going, but I'm just wondering if there is a "norm" for this.

I wouldn't even bring up to them how much the salon said they'd charge you. To me that sounds outrageous, but honestly I haven't even started looking at dresses... I hope it doesn't cost that much! It never hurts to get a second opinion tho. Good luck!
  22. Sure, I think it's definitely possible - you may just have to pay more money. I guess it depends on the hotel. But I am getting married (in Puerto Vallarta) at one hotel and staying next door at another.
