It is so easy to get a drink wherever you are at Dreams and we never ran on 'empty'. I wouldn't spend on any cups since you would have to tote it along with you everywhere. I personally would not have carried it around. SusanK did make some really nice ones instead of OOT bags and stuffed them with nice items, but I cannot remember if she said people used them there or not. I had the red one, which I completely forgot that they did until I looked out the window where I was getting ready. I think it kind of curves a little bit too, so ordering one may not fit well on that walkway. I took several packages of silk rose petals for the walkway, but it was SO windy that time of year they would have blown away in a second. You can see in some of my pictures, my veil flew around my head and my dad is holding it behind his back while we were walking down the aisle. It was *such* a pain, but I laughed it off. It did make for good pictures later on, but I think if I had to do it again, I wouldn't wear the veil.
  2. Everything looks great Rachel! It will be perfect no matter what. I cannot wait to hear about it all when you return and hope it is drama-free
  3. I am originally from Mexico and had friends and family there that would attend our wedding. So instead of coming to the US where we live, we chose a nice location in Mexico. I mean, where else can you get excellent Mexican food and maricahis?!

You should see how I wrapped it! Ha! First in tissue inside a paper towel tube and then wrapped in bubble wrap! It was only missing a little rhinestone when I received it, but you cannot tell unless you look pretty hard at it. I took it on the plane in my backpack there and back in a tube

  6. Happy Birthday Stephanie! We miss you on here... hope you are doing well!
  7. Those are wonderful Alyssa! Your guests are going to be very impressed. And needless to say, Sarah is very talented!

Kash got me a book called 'Frida's Fiestas': Frida Kahlo is my favourite artist. She has some weird patinings but she painted what she felt which is very hard to do. This is a Mexican cookbook that has pictures of Frida and Diego Rivera's home and recipes of the food and feasts they had. My mom just told me about this book this week and I thought, I have to have it! And you didn't even know it Kash! It's a perfect gift! Mil gracias!
  10. It is beautiful Tara! And best of all, the feeling of knowing it IS the ONE!

No it's not really correct because it's not a saying used in Spanish. I would say, "Papa, para acordarte del dia que me entregaste de novia." To remember the day you gave me away as a bride.

  14. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! I am so glad she is getting you the mantilla! I can't wait to see pictures! Did youpost your showers pictures? Are you holding out on us? ! Just kidding! I woke up early on my wedding day to do little things. Actually I did that several days before we left the US because I couldn't sleep knowing all the little things I had to get done! You will be in Tulum in no time!
  15. New bedroom set and new king mattresses were just delivered and assembled! Yaaaaay! (But I am and work so I have not seen it yet...)
  16. In Mario Galaxies he runs around jumps over things and collects items like old school, but you are on planets, so you are going around the sphere where sometimes you will be running and end up upside down! That was hard to get used to. You can hold the remote vertically, make a little twirl with it and Mario will jump and twirl which is cool. You can also point at the screen with the remote to collect items. This is a good one.
  17. I like the game it comes with - bowling especially. Mario Galaxies is very cool. I love Guitar Hero (after making fun of my co-worker)... but we have that for Xbox. I am on Hard, but haven't beat one at that level yet. Meanwhile our 6 yr old nephew has... and can play songs without missing a single note.

Soo... the menu lists 3 entree choices for dinner. I guess my question is, do my guests each choose 1 of the 3 or do I pick one of the 3 and everyone eats the same thing? Wow, I think I've confused myself. Am I making sense? I want to get my Invites out and was thinking about putting entree choices on it if thats a possibility. Maybe I should just go with the buffet! If you have more than 40 guests you can do the buffet which we did so we would have more choices. If you do plated, everyone has the same thing, no choices for the guests on the entrees, you choose one for all. If you do choose plated I believe there is a surf and turf that was really good.
  19. This is the activity book I created for the kids to use during the wedding dinner (see attached PowerPoint). We gave these books, crayons, crazy straws and glow stick necklaces at dinner. The 'word scramble' and the 'catch the bouquet' I got from a kid's colouring book under this link and then I made the rest with clipart: Wedding Planning PV kids colouring book.ppt

  21. Hi Tara! Our dog Mason developed this issue after he was fixed, but he is male. It was just a few drops here and there, not a puddle due to been happy or excited. What I have been dealing with for almost 13 years! I have been told time and time again that it is very rare in males and they have seen much success with medication with female dogs. So keep an eye on her since it is recent and it could be short-termed. If it goes on for months and months, it sounds like, from what several vets have told me, easy to control in female dogs. We have tried several medications, even powdered tree bark from a holistic type doctor. The last thing to work for his loose bladder sphictre (sp?) has been a monthly progesterone shot in conjunction with twice a day doses or Proin. It has been such a pain, but we have learned to deal with it. He cannot have a normal fluffy dog bed, only the ones with plastic coverings that can be easily cleaned and we lay down a towel so that can easily go in the wash. Hopefully you won't have to deal with this, but that has been my experience I thought I would share.
