  1. Tami- I think that is what I'll get, something like yours. Do you know what that type is called? Because of the details on the train I dont want them covered.
  2. I'm going for my first fitting this weekend and I have no idea what type of bustle I want or what would look good. If you have ideas can you post different pictures of different bustles?? Here is my dress. Front Back
  3. I love to read and I think I might be able to join too. How long would we have to read?
  4. We are having a close friend read an Irish Blessing during the wedding. Anyone have any that they want to share? Below is one that I've found and like. May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon the fields. May the light of friendship guide your paths together. May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home. May the joy of living for one another trip a smile from your lips, A twinkle from your eye. And when eternity beckons, at the end of a life heaped high with love, May the good Lord embrace you with the arms that have nurtured you the whole length of your joy-filled days. May the gracious God hold you both in the palm of His hands. And, today, may the Spirit of Love find a dwelling place in your hearts. Amen.
  5. Beautiful! I love the pool shots, so fun! Where did you get the guys shirts?
  6. Thought I'd let everyone know that we just got FI a really great tan Nautica Suit from Macys tonight. Regularly $400 on sale for $199.00 plus I had a 20% off coupon. I think they are only on sale until tomorrow. It is tan with a faint pinstripe on both the jacket and pants. I'll try to post pictures later I didn't see it online.

  8. You can make them for cheap!! I bought a bag of the beads for like $4 and the wire for like $2ish. That made me about 10-15 of them (depending on the amount of beads in the bag). Totally easy to make! They have a nice sparkle to them.
  9. I tried to make these. I didn't end up liking them as a bouquet by itself. Its just swavorski crystals twisted on to wire.

  11. I work as a Project Coordinator at mortgage company. We service over 200 different mortgage companies. Think of some of the most popular mortgage brokers and Investment companies and we do business with them. My job is to integrate all the new companies on what we do on the servicing side (after your mortgage closes). I'm currently bored with it and looking for something new! I graduate with my BS in Business Management in May a week before the wedding so I'll start looking then for a new job.
  12. Fun!! We bought our 3 bedroom house in April and had some 'extra' room. So we turned the smallest bedroom into my walk-in closet. We built everything on our own and a few purchases from Ikea. This set was my grandmothers. Shoes!

  14. Ouch! My hotel doesn't have the bamboo arch (they are looking into it, but doubt they will buy one) so I am going to rent it from the florist. I haven't heard back from them yet for a price.
  15. I think I've changed my mind, I want to do the shells for my arch now. Grrr, just more things to buy!
  16. Thanks everyone for your help! I didn't think they would be easy to find, I guess I was wrong. Sarah- Thanks, I'm going to look around and see if I can find some, if not I will definately take you up on your offer! Michelle- I'm not sure what color daisies yet, all of the bouquets will be gerbera daisies but I haven't figured out colors yet.
  17. I'm thinking about doing centerpieces now... I wasnt going to originally but now here is what I'm thinking. Short square vases with blue glass like stones at the bottom filled with Gerbera Daisies. I'm thinking more glass like then actual stones, almost clear or see through. Does anyone have any ideas where I can buy the blue stones for cheap?
  18. Did anyone register at either Lowes or Home Depot? If so, what did you register for?
  19. We are going to do aqua Ecofetti in white organza bags for people to throw at the end of the ceremony. I know people put little sayings on bubbles, bells, or rice for guests to read and get the hint to throw. Anyone have any cute quotes/sayings that I can put on the little bags?
