  1. I want to do my hair half up/down for the wedding with lots of curls. I also plan on wearing a viel for the ceremony. I am looking for a sparkly comb or barrette in a reasonable price range. Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy something? Here are a few inspiration pics. I'm not sure how a veil would work with this one.
  2. I actually ordered the SPF lipbalm from an Avon rep for only $0.69 from the last catalog and of course no shipping. They have this deal pretty often so if you have time, just keep an eye out.
  3. Totally not alone!! They seem to have no initiative to do anything, I usually have nag to get something done.
  4. Ok Thanks! I just ordered some ribbon from papermart and I'll see how they look at home.

(this is a sore subject after yesterday's loss, of course) oh, and as for cost, my mom ordered the blue tablecloths from some place in LA for around $6 each. We sold them to the hotel afterward. We brought down the tealights purchased at Big Lots - 3/$1. My mom ordered the ribbon from papermart.com and then my mom and sister painstakingly weaved those bad boys once we got to Cabo. Thank goodness for my mom! I did the centerpieces through Rosy's florist. I think they were $35 each. I love the look of the weaved ribbons. How well did they hold up when the guests were sitting down?
  6. When I go to the mall tonight I will stop the Proactive kiosk. Thank you everyone!!
  7. Philosophy, I'll have to check them out. I might go to Sephora tonight and see all that is out there. I was actually looking into proactive. Do you use the entire line or just 1 or 2 of the products?
  8. I've been using it for little over a month. I know I haven't given it a long enough chance, but I can't take the greasiness anymore!
  9. My face is a mess! I've never really had a problem with pimples or greasiness, but the last 3 months have been awful. I went to the dermatoligist in the begining of September (of course my face was clear for the visit) and was presribed a gel to clear everything up. I was also told to use Cetaphil Moisturizer and I have been using Purpose Face Wash for the past 10 years (which is also dermatoligist recommended). I think the moisturizer is too heavy and greasy. I am litterally wiping my face 3 times a day, it is soo gross. Anyone have any recommendations for moisturizers? Anything that fights acne is a plus, but not neccessary. TIA!

You're making me feel alive again. I know I seemed 'fine' tonight, but honestly, this is the first time I really smiled & laughed for a few weeks. I needed it! Thanks again, I *heart* you all very much and look forward to our next get together! ~Heidi You are very welcome! Glad everyone was able to meet up. Enjoy your massage!

  12. I'm glad everyone got together. I had a really nice time. Man that is a bad second picture, mid-blink (I didn't even drink )
  13. I'm actually looking into going to the Hershey Spa for a night with my girls. We'll see how economincally feasible that is. Since you are in PA, that might be an option.

Their website is Montego Bay Jamaica Resorts and All-Inclusive Beach Hotels - Rose Hall Resort and Country Club. Some of my guests that do not have the money to stay in their high priced rooms will stay at one of the hotels in Mobay and we will arrange for transportation between their hotel and the Rose Hall. The good thing is that Rose Hall won't charge my external guests an entry fee for my wedding unlike several other resorts I visited... If I remember well, they perform weddings 7 days/week. Let me know if you have any questions ... I went to scout hotels in Jamaica twice and all in the Montego Bay area before choosing Rose Hall. Good luck! I was originally planning my wedding there! There prices got rediculous though!!
  17. That is the plan to make them from just regular paper. I just wasn't sure if anyone maybe had a template or what size paper was used.
  18. Make sense, I'm not even sure if the hotel's chairs have posts. I guess I should look into that. Did you use the generic pouches from a craft store?
  19. Did anyone make their own flower toss cone? I'm not sure what else it is called. I'm looking to make my own, maybe even have them hang on the back of the chairs. Please post pictures of the ones you've made or even inspiration pictures. Thanks!!
  20. Almost... I'm getting married in Clearwater Beach, Fl about 40 minutes away.
