Sorry girls!!! Tammy- They really are gorgeous!! I will be going to the Cabo/Todos Santos/La Paz area about once a month on business from now on so I will keep my eyes peeled. Everyone was laughing at me because I kept stopping to pick flowers- even on the sidewalk!! People must have thought I was crazy! BTW: I have to plann a mojor ground breaking party for my company and they hired a florist out of La Paz that has really great prizes! I will post in a different thread. They will be delivering to Todos Santos- so I assume they can bring to Cabo!

I'm in Cabo now and NO rain!! Last week there was a sprinkle over night.. but no biggie. You also have to be aware that this time of the year clouds do gather but normally over the mountain range north of cabo . It usually does rain every afternoon there during the rainy season. You will have a gorgeous wedding and your guests will have a great time rain or no rain!

I am in Cabo now and had to drive to La Paz over the weekend and was astonished to see in the middle of the desert tons of plumeria flowering! They are gorgeous!! I thought I would let you all know as it may be a gorgeous and probably cheap flower to get for a wedding. The flowers are white with yellow centers and they have an incredible scent. So then I started looking and saw huge plumeria trees in residential neighborhoods in Cabo and in La paz with plumeria in white and in deep and light pink. Gorgeous.

I've dyed Roses before and I assume that you could do the same with orchids. I just use food coloring. The trick isto make a "concentrate". Room temperature water works best and make sure you cut about and inch of the stem before you place it in the concentrate. You will have to watch the flowers and make sure you remove them once you get the color intesity you want.

BTW: They also had Veuve Clicquot Champagne for $60 dls.

I don't know if any one is getting married in Cabo on those dates. I was just at the Cabo Costco over the weekend and they gave me their cupon book. I didn't even look through it until later on but they have a 2x1 coupon for their roses. I think the cost of the roses was $150 pesos for 2 dozen? They had some really pretty colors. I just quickly glansed at them but they had orange, red, white, pinks and a gorgeous red with yellow. They didn't have many bunches of each color but if someone wanted to mix colors ie: reds & oranges or pinks and whites it would work.

The green cymbidium in this picture has purple pink / fuschia accents. You may want to take a hint from nature and use the green- maybe even a couple of shades of green and the fuscia from the orchid plus white. I think it would be a very clean crisp look.

Love that son too!It would be really pretty for a wedding.

You might be able to rent a dance floor and have it isntalled on the sand? I think this was done for the las caletas brides- don't know if it has been done in cabo. Another option is to set up your tables on the beach (on the sand- completely embrace the beach theme) and have the dance floor be up the steps on the terrace.

It doesn't necessarily need to be cherry blossom. I think as long as they are branches with small flowers. They should be able to find something like that for you. and it probably would be cheaper. You may be able to find something on your own if you look arround. You might be surprised.
