Congratulations Kashmira! I have to go find the video...I missed that post. I'm sorry to hear about the cost discrepencies...I encountered similar issues with the Sheraton....but, it sounds like everything was wonderful! I can't wait to see the pics... alright, i'm off to find the video!

Welcome! I'm late on your thread, but like Ann and Paul we also got married on Maui...we just did a simple legal ceremony. We got married at Po'Olenalena beach...it was really pretty...i think it was just south of Wailea. I don't know of any condo rental companies near kihei or Wailea. We stayed at a nice condo in Kanapali (sp?), but that would be too far from where you want to get married....anyway, I'm rambling. I'll as my hubby if he knows of any condo rental companies in the Kihei/Wailea area.

Yeah, I was surprised to read that my dress was polyester (yuck!)....but, it looked nicer than polyester...thank goodness!

That's kinda what I thought (you didn't get married right after getting your license)...Paul didn't quite looked dressed for his Maui wedding.

I did a TTD session, but went in the pool. It dried over night, which surprised me. I haven't taken it to the cleaners yet ...afraid of the bill. I agree that you should direct the novice TTD photographers to examples of what you are expecting or would like. But, really I think once they realize what you want to do they'll have a lot of great suggestions and ideas. I know my photog, Jonathan Thrasher, had a lot of great ideas.....and, I don't think he's done a lot of TTD sessions. If your dress is silk, I would definitely get a second dress. ..my dress was polyester.

So funny that we're sharing pics of marriage license place. I love the way you cropped your siggy pic. It's great with Paul sitting on the bench to the right of where the arrow points. We had a 3rd person with us and we had just finished a bottle of champagne at the hotel before we went to get our license...so, we were feeling pretty good that morning.

Nicole ~ Welcome home! And, Congratulations!! You were beautiful!!! ...I think tears as you walk down the aisle or normal. All the mishaps sound very trying....I'm so glad you had a responsible, take charge friend who could step in and see that all was as you wished it. I hope cancelled flight and lost luggage happened on the return flight home? An extra day in Cabo wouldn't have been so bad. Looking forward to reading your review and seeing more pics.....everything looked beautiful!
