ROYAL PLAYA DEL CARMEN BRIDES: were kids allowed for the day? ...and other questions

Recommended Posts

The Royal gave us the Tres Leche cake when a group of us travel agents were at the resort in December for a wedding training weekend... it was amazing and delicious! I highly recommend it!

Thanks! I bought my jewelry at The left bank jewelry in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago. I went in the store because I don't live very far but they also have a website if you want to check them out. www.leftbankjewelry.com

Ladies,

I'm looking desperately for royal blue peep toes with a heel around 3 inches, no more than 3.5. I had one possibilty, by Pour la Victoire and it's now sold out :( Any suggestions?

Araceli -

Thanks for posting the pics! Absolutely gorgeous and the wedding looks amazing. How did you travel with your dress?

I think KShow had first class closet.

Any other brides? How did you travel with your gown?

Thanks!!

I am wondering if I should also look into booking a photographer as well, and I also saw mentioned on here that there is an outside vendor fee? My WC Angie mentioned that they can make several arrangements for vendors such as the DJ, but she never mentioned anything about an outside vendor fee.

Thanks!

Rissa519,

Question for you past brides who had outside vendors for photographer/videographer...

My WC said that I have to pay the vendor fee plus the cost of non-resort guest for their meal at reception.  That seems absolutley ridiculous to me and I'm super irritated! (I would be paying close to $500 extra for each vendor) =(

Past brides is this what you encountered?  Were any brides able to get away with buying day passes for vendors?

Any input will help, thanks ladies!  Only 7.5 weeks until I leave.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
