Less than 6 months to go! AHH!! Does anyone have any pics or comments on the resorts hair/makeup? I think i'm going to send them an email them for info..

 

I used the now jade spa for both hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids. I definately recommend bringing pictures of what you want, and if you can swing it a trial might be helpful. If not, I recommend leaving some extra time on your wedding day in case you want to make any adjustments. 

 

For my hair, she was right on with what I showed her in a few pictures. My makeup, not so much. During my trial I didnt bring pics of what I wanted and I said "just do a smokey eye". Well, their version of a smokey eye and my version are very different! Even though I'm really good at makeup, I didnt want to have to do it on my wedding day, so I decided to take my chances again. On my wedding day I brought pictures and she did exactly what I wanted  :)

 

If you're used to using higher end products (HD foundation etc) I recommend bring those as well.. Hope this helps. theres some pics of my hair in my Now Jade gallery under my profile

Has anyone had rectangular tables in the bamboo room for their reception? How many do they seat? Just thought they might look a little different and I like that!! Any thoughts?

For those who had fire dancers... Did you book that through the wedding coordinator or did you hire some off site? How much was it? Is it really worth it? I'm looking to end my wedding night with a bang so i really want something fun that people will remember.

Fireworks could be used to end your night with a bang ;)

I wanted to let everyone know that new prices are out for the Eternity ($2799) and Devine ($3299) packages. They went up $300 for 2015 and 2016 weddings that haven't paid a deposit yet. We were one day too late :(

 

Oh well, what can you do.

I saw someone post on here awhile ago an online store to be linens for a very reasonable price but I can't seem to find it. If anyone has places they have used please share. Thanks!

If you have long hair and want an updo, make sure they use elastics to hold it up if possible!!! The girl only used bobby pins on mine and within hours it was falling out and a mess. but it looked great right when it was first done! i would change that forsure if i could relive the day again.

We used round tables that seated 8-10 people and purchased our runners of ebay (seller vlovelife - we bought 10 Sheer Organza Table Runners 12" x 108")

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
