Yes you are in good shape, with alot big checks on you list ..yay

OK, I'm finally motivated to post what I'm working on.  I'm on a super tight budget, so I'm not doing a whole lot of things like you girls.  Sorry, no OOT bags, guests.    Here's what I've got so far:

Save the Date magnets--Check, using pic we took from our balcony when we were there in March this year.

      magnet copy.jpg

      Photography--Booked, Photos in Cancun

Wedding Dress, shoes, jewelry, hair accessories--check, in my possession.  I look awful in this pic, though.  It needs to be pressed when we get down there.

      WEDDING DRESS.JPG

*MOH dress and pants for BM--check, still need matching shirt for him.

*FI pants--check, but still  need to order his shirt (Need my bank account to catch up with spending.  Haha!)

      *Wedding Rings--shopping for next weekend.

      *Decorations for Tables--check

*Cake Topper, serving set, toasting flutes--check

      cake topper 2.bmp

*Flights and Room reservations, hair/makeup appointments--Booked

*Wedding Garter--check, Colts theme--FI will love it

      *Flower girl baskets and petals--check

      *Gifts for MOH/BM--check

*Invitations--check, super cheap.  Found them at Jo Ann's for $4 clearance, Score!

*Wedding favors--check, my BM is screen printing custom koozies for us

Soooooooo....that was a lot.  I will refrain from posting that much in the future!  Haha!  I think I'm in pretty good shape.  I feel like I'm forgetting something that I need, though.

Wow, Wonderful. Love the STD, and you are totally on top of things! I still don't have my dress or invites getting a little stressed with how far you guys are with the planning. LOL

          Well ladies,

2 days down and 1 more to go before the State Surveyors are GONE My staff and I are in pretty good shape with a few minor corrections, some of which will be completely eliminated with the implementation of electronic health record late 12'.  But with that said, I'm exhausted but managed to find some energy to bling out our Guest DND signs.  Because I was already tired to start, I dared not to venture on the path to cutting.  I will conquer this tomorrow.  So without further ado here are our guest signs.. I have 20 of these pages to cut (I always do extra just in case).

          Guest DND.jpg

Not all of them look the same as far as the bling.. Some have bling inside the S, or the colors are reversed etc..

          Happy DIYing

PS I found out today, that if I send documents from the computer to my printer friend, he accepts the items face-up (excluding labels.)  However; if you are in his company trying to print he takes the documents face-down. I told you his a$% is bipolar.  But I love my (oooppsss- my work) Canon Printer Guy...  stay tuned, I'm going in the office tomorrow at 6:30 to print the cover of our welcome booklet.  I already pre-cut all 50 card stock pages...so NO cutting afterwards.. YES....

          Nite

@ Coco, seriously your relationship with your new printer is hysterical, it's like you're an old married couple bickering over when he is going to finally do what you asked him to do.  LOL

Anyone else watching the Hurricane Rina updates like a fanatic?

and a gift card to their fave Mexican restaurant so that if she feels up to it and is not in labor they can go celebrate your wedding day with a little piece of Mexico.  Congrats on becoming an Auntie :)  FI's sister had his first nephew in July.  It's awesome :)

Loving these, DIY projects, ladies!!!  We have some talented ladies on here!

Jamie - love how you made the fonts simpler --- they look AWESOME!!  Great on that paper, too.

Merrylee - You've been hard at work!!  I think it's great that your FI wanted to make them with you, too!  What a keeper! :)

First I want to send a shout out to COCO!!!  I am in the final stages of finishing my boarding pass invites.  Coco provided me with templates and even sent me the exact paper I wanted to use (that she had left over) so I could see how they would look!!!  I don't have enough thank you's for you COCO!!!!  These are definitely not as glamorous as some, but I still am very proud of my DIY challenged booty!!!

I have caught a few things I want to change/edit/re-do (lack of proof reading)  But ultimately, once those items are fixed, I am thinking I am ready to put them together.

What do you think????  1st photo is from my phone and the last 2 are scanned copies.   Again, I have found a several things that need to be fixed.  i.e. passenger receipt 2 of 3 etc....but then I will find a cute brad, but them in a jacket, raffia and then into the envelope....

Hiya ladies, we were supposed to have our engagement pictures done this past weekend, but we got rained out :( :(  So instead FI said, how about we make some jewelry.  Ummm deal!  I took a jewelry making class in August, but hadn't even attempted to make any since then because I admit I was a bit intimidated.  One of the items I wanted to include in our OOT bags, was a handmade bracelet for each of the ladies.  I could have bought them, but I like the idea of this DIY plus I think it will be fun to see them be worn on the trip.  So without further ado...

YES - this site is a Godsend.  I don't know who I'd talk to if it weren't for this site!!

My FI seems pretty uninterested in the whole thing since he says the only thing he wants is to marry me --- and if I want a wedding celebration, that's fine with him.  He has helped me do some DIY stuff (if I twist his arm, lol), and we got the groomsmen shoes last weekend, and are going shopping this weekend for his suit and more groomsmen clothes.  But I have stopped asking him his advice on certain things in case he gives me his input and it's totally different than I'd planned on hahaha.  But we've gone through our budget and he knows about all these projects.  He's just trying to keep me balanced so that we still have a relationship  during all this planning!!!

Thank God for this forum because we can't talk about our weddings enough and i know i care about all your details and it seems my friends and family really just don't really care and I don't mean it bad it just isn't the end all for them to hear about it 24/7 so whatever.
