Wow, Wonderful. Love the STD, and you are totally on top of things! I still don't have my dress or invites getting a little stressed with how far you guys are with the planning. LOL

Well ladies,

2 days down and 1 more to go before the State Surveyors are GONE pinkie.gif My staff and I are in pretty good shape with a few minor corrections, some of which will be completely eliminated with the implementation of electronic health record late 12'.  But with that said, I'm exhausted but managed to find some energy to bling out our Guest DND signs.  Because I was already tired to start, I dared not to venture on the path to cutting.  I will conquer this tomorrow.  So without further ado here are our guest signs.. I have 20 of these pages to cut (I always do extra just in case).

Guest DND.jpg

Not all of them look the same as far as the bling.. Some have bling inside the S, or the colors are reversed etc..

Happy DIYing

PS I found out today, that if I send documents from the computer to my printer friend, he accepts the items face-up (excluding labels.)  However; if you are in his company trying to print he takes the documents face-down. I told you his a$% is bipolar.  smile105.gifBut I love my (oooppsss- my work) Canon Printer Guy...  stay tuned, I'm going in the office tomorrow at 6:30 to print the cover of our welcome booklet.  I already pre-cut all 50 card stock pages...so NO cutting afterwards.. YES....

Nite

@ Coco, seriously your relationship with your new printer is hysterical, it's like you're an old married couple bickering over when he is going to finally do what you asked him to do.  LOL

Anyone else watching the Hurricane Rina updates like a fanatic?

and a gift card to their fave Mexican restaurant so that if she feels up to it and is not in labor they can go celebrate your wedding day with a little piece of Mexico.  Congrats on becoming an Auntie :)  FI's sister had his first nephew in July.  It's awesome :)

Loving these, DIY projects, ladies!!!  We have some talented ladies on here!

Jamie - love how you made the fonts simpler --- they look AWESOME!!  Great on that paper, too.

Merrylee - You've been hard at work!!  I think it's great that your FI wanted to make them with you, too!  What a keeper! :)

First I want to send a shout out to COCO!!!  I am in the final stages of finishing my boarding pass invites.  Coco provided me with templates and even sent me the exact paper I wanted to use (that she had left over) so I could see how they would look!!!  I don't have enough thank you's for you COCO!!!!  These are definitely not as glamorous as some, but I still am very proud of my DIY challenged booty!!!

I have caught a few things I want to change/edit/re-do (lack of proof reading)  But ultimately, once those items are fixed, I am thinking I am ready to put them together.

What do you think????  1st photo is from my phone and the last 2 are scanned copies.   Again, I have found a several things that need to be fixed.  i.e. passenger receipt 2 of 3 etc....but then I will find a cute brad, but them in a jacket, raffia and then into the envelope....New Image.JPG

YES - this site is a Godsend.  I don't know who I'd talk to if it weren't for this site!!

My FI seems pretty uninterested in the whole thing since he says the only thing he wants is to marry me --- and if I want a wedding celebration, that's fine with him.  He has helped me do some DIY stuff (if I twist his arm, lol), and we got the groomsmen shoes last weekend, and are going shopping this weekend for his suit and more groomsmen clothes.  But I have stopped asking him his advice on certain things in case he gives me his input and it's totally different than I'd planned on hahaha.  But we've gone through our budget and he knows about all these projects.  He's just trying to keep me balanced so that we still have a relationship  during all this planning!!!

Thank God for this forum because we can't talk about our weddings enough and i know i care about all your details and it seems my friends and family really just don't really care and I don't mean it bad it just isn't the end all for them to hear about it 24/7 so whatever. Idc I HAVE U GUYS woot.gif

Last Friday, I posted the print-outs for our 1st Aid Kit.  Well, since I took off a week of DIYing I just wanted to share the beginning results of putting these labels on.  Disclaimer as always ;-) I'm using my iPhone.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
