I too have IBS and have been through countless tests, and the doctors have never found anything. I find that gluten, dairy, caffiene and processed foods really aggravate it. When I have an "epidose", I usually stick to things like bananas, apple sauce, plain rice, etc. until the pain goes away. If it's really bad, you can have the doctor prescribe something called an antispasmodic to help with the cramps and the pain.
However, it sounds like you're gettting better! That's great!

So to stabilize my system I am sticking to the bland foods and had to start eating starch again (the elimination of which over the past couple months may have triggered it). So far, so good in the past 24 hours anyway...and exercise really helps whatever it is so I have an extra motivator to keep that up! Lol
