How exciting! I'm down to 30 or so days. It's getting there.

Have a blast at LC and come back to the forum when you have a chance after you get home. It's always great to hear from the latest LC bride. I never get tired hearing the stories.

I don't want to bother Kelley too much so I'm posting this question here....

What is the timeline for the wedding day? I am printing brochure for our wedding guests and would like to put down the time they will be picked up from Dreams PV and what time our other 2 guests (who are not staying at Dreams PV) to be at the marina? What is the exact name of the marina?   I'm getting married May 30, 2011

I am getting married May 29th :). Kelley said that the boat would leave the marina at 4:30, however, we are staying at the Westin, I am not sure if you are leaving a different port or not. We are leaving from a port called Opequimar across the street from the Westin since it's a Sunday she said. Otherwise I think its a different port in the Marina Vallarta area. I am telling guests to be at the lobby of the Westin at 4:10 so they can walk across the street together. The ceremony beings at 6. Since we have not added an extra hour yet, the boat leaves Las Caletas at 10:30 and arrives back at 11:30. I am sorry, that might not have helped you that much since we are staying somewhere different, but its at least an idea and I am sure if there are any changes I would let guests know when you are down there. I am sure they will be asking anyway. I would just tell them to at least be ready to roll around 4pm.

Hello! It has been awhile since I have checked in, congrats to all the recent brides! I still love hearing your great reviews of LC when you return, oh and seeing the pics too!

Our 2nd anniversary is this weekend, I can't believe it has been 2 years already! Anyway I was getting all nostalgic i think so that is why I decided to check in today ;) our plan this weekend is to watch our wedding video and relive the memories, then next week we are heading to Playa del Carmen to celebrate!

Cocktail Hour 6:35pm
Dinner   7:30pm
Toasting and Cake 8:25pm

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
