May 2010 Brides!

Recommended Posts

There have been many times that I told myself to just pretend I never saw the new requests at work. Lol. Obviously, that is not a good solution.

In the end, you'll be laying on the beach with a drink!!

oh, how i wish i could pretend that i didn't see requests. but when the client meetings come up and my colleague would show up empty handed to the meetings, i think people *might* notice. boo.

makes me curious about what you ladies do for work - anyone want to share?

personally, i work as an investment consultant at a Big 4 firm.

A lady at work decided to take off all next week (the week before I leave!) so now I'll have to really make sure I keep my mind focused to stay ahead as much as possible when I know I'll just want to think of wedding things! Ugh. So unfair. LOL. I bet the wedding diet will be out the window next week.

I'm a secretary at a police department. As I always say I not one of them... I just work for them! :)

I'm a database admin and sometimes deal with applications support. Yeah, so much fun.

I seriously suck at investment stuff but I'm smart enough to have 401k so a brownie point for me!!

It has been really hard to focus on work. I have new requests coming in all the times and am working on a new important project. It's such a good timing to be on a high impact project. =(

Glad to hear I'm not the only one freaking out! haha

I work in marketing for an oil and gas pipeline company and we're in the middle of this big settlement with our stakeholders. Just bad timing! I can only do what I can do. I refuse to stay late! haha

So looked at my list again and it really is do-able. I still have this weekend to get finished!

KittenHeart- I know the feeling about the pressures of work while trying to get out of town for the biggest event of our lives to date. It will all work out. I've been stressed, eating poorly for a week myself and I leave on Sunday for Europe to begin the rest of our adventure. At this point all we can do is go through the motions of regular life, try not to stress, and enjoy the wedding and the events leading up to it.

I know it will all work out...try not to stress. Cannot wait to see pics from your big day!

cheers,

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
