What was the best thing that they did for your wedding that you didn't expect and for your guests?
Our resort took the decoration of the reception hall to a level I didn't think was possible, all of the linens were perfect! I did not expect that each table would have champagne buckets at every table that were draped in proper linens.
Everyone had a bathtub filled with water and petals, and a box of coconut (like bounty/mounds) chocolates. My guests were wowed!

We got married at Las Caletas though and they did everything perfectly, including a cold bottle of champagne waiting for me and my girls the day of! Loved that
I will say our HM hotel did a cool thing for us! We stayed at The Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, JA and they sent us a tray which included 1) a letter of congratulations from the Manager (looked hand signed) with a $50 gift cert to the spa (which we put to use on a couples massage lesson!) 2) Ice cold champagne in a bucket of ice 3) yummy little dessert plate and separate fruit/cheese plate. Was very, very sweet of them! After our previous experience, we felt so touched at this token of their acknowledgment of our wedding/honeymoon.

We had 24 people attend our wedding in Las Caletas, Mexico on May 24th, 2009!
We all stayed at The Marriott in P.V., and Honeymooned at The Royal Plantation in Ochos Rios, Jamaica!

Amy-I want the coconut chocolates-yummy!
Jamie-I can't believe the hotel didn't do ANYTHING. They should have at least sent champagne or chocolate covered strawberries!
