That bites!! I was really concerned about it too but the only thing I had done was to have it shortened and to have a bustle added. I think it helped that I got a corset back, it's alot easier to "mold" the dress to your body that way. Maybe the seamstress could add one (assuming it's not) and that would help? I don't know what problems you're having or if it would go with the dress style but it's a suggestion..

LOVE this thread by the way.. i just read the whole thing! Nothing better to do when you cant sleep than come on BDW website! Anyway.. I actually bought my Maggie "Reese" dress before reading this so I did pay all that money, but I've decided I DO NOT want to trash that dress and any of you that know what the dress looks like would understand :) So I want a seperate TTD.. I cant seem to find the one I want anywhere! Not used..nothing. I want the Maggie Sottero "Melanie." I just messaged Landy's bridal and they want almost $400 for it and I dont want to spend that much on a dress that I will wear one hour to trash! Since some of you are a little more advanced at this maybe you can help me! I am writing gianinarbridal soon after this to get a quote from them! At max I was looking to spend $150! Maybe I am crazy and thats too cheap, but I already spent lots of money on my Reese! Which I might add is the awesomest DW dress! I highly recommend it!! Thanks so much girls!

I really wanted to buy a knock off dress, or at the very least buy from an online store a dress I would have tried on in the store. But when I went to try dresses today I gave in to the pressure of the saleslady. frown.gif

Don't get me wrong, I love my dress, I just don't like the fact that I've already been able to find it online for almost half the price and it's only been 5 hours.

Thanks. You're right, what's done is done and the most important thing is that I have a beautiful dress that fits.

I saw your dress on another thread, and it is beautiful! Remember that for us Canadians we usually always overpay compared to US pricing. That's why I shop in Vermont for most of my clothes!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
