Hi everyone!

 

Is anyone getting married at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall? There is another thread for that resort but it's not very active at all sad.gif I know alot of the issues and topics to discuss are the same since their the same company and right next door to each other, but it would be great to hear from someone getting married at the IGRH, too.

 

On another note, does Iberostar Rose Hall Suites use Flower Studio, too? I am trying to figure out my flowers but it's so hard to do over email! How did you all pick your flowers from afar?

I am so excited that you wedding went well. I have been waiting like a little kid for you to return and post your review. I really hope you feel better soon!!! I know you are under the weather, but I have to ask you one quick question....do they have chiavari chairs as an option for us now or did you have those brought in? That one picture is awesome and I cannot wait to see the rest!!!

Hi Maura, There was one girl... her user name was Sparkles-something who was married at the grand & did a review/planning thread in the planning threads section. But yes, you can get alot of ideas from us Suites/Beach gals too :)

 

Iberostar Rose Hall Suites/Beach do use Flower Studio too. Picking flowers over the internet IS really hard. I would suggest choosing one whom other brides have used happily. There is a thread about the florists in Jamaica. Get some quotes for what you want, then you can do a keyword search in the wedding reviews using the florists names to see some examples of their work besides what they have on their site.

I do not have a bridal party and really only need my bouquet. Since one is included with the package @ IRHS, does anyone know if they can give you something else if you choose to get flowers from another vendor?

Ex, I bring my own bouquet and they take a couple of bucks off for additional guests?

I'm in the same boat. I only have one bridesmaid. On the site a lot of brides liked and used Real Touch flowers.

Thanks, Breeze616! I will look up other vendors and search for their work how you suggested. I was in touch with Flower Studio today and all the flowers I said I liked are ones that are imports (of course!) so will cost more, though she didn't give an exact price. I might just go all orchids or something local to keep costs down, though I think flowers do have a big impact on the overall look so I do want them just right :)

We rented Chiavari chairs from Tai Flora where we also got our flowers. We rented them for $4 per chair, better price than anyone in Jamaica. Natalie was an angel to work with as well. My review will be done by this weekend...and I will include more pictures.

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.
