Iberostar Rose Hall Brides - Post all info/questions here!

Recommended Posts

Hey ladies...I'm wondering about those of you who have worked with Godfrey Guy for flowers. Anyone have any input on him?

Also, does anyone know how the tables will be setup at the Calabash for 15-20 people? Banquet style or round tables of 8 people? I can't get a response from the WC.

Thank you!! cheesy.gif

You have to have over 40 guests for the round tables. So you would have the banquet style rectangle tables.

Hey R! Congrats on your big day! You looked beautiful! Am I mistaken or didn't you have another upcoming photographer booked prior to Marcia?

Thanks Nikadawn!  Not a bad idea.  I'm sure they have several and it's basically a toss up of who you get.  A back-up plan is smart!

No offense taken!!!  It was quite funny actually so that served as some form of enterainment lol.  Yes, we used the Iberostar DJ.

I literally laughed out loud with your comment about the DJ, sorry no offense to you, but with what you said it told me I DO NOT want his business. Did you just go with the DJ offered by Iberostar?

Thanks

Shannon

No, I didn't provide a list and I guess that was my mistake.  When Nicole asked about music I said hiphop and r&b.  Even it was older music it would have been fine but it wasn't even in the genre that I requested.

Someone got a pic of the aisle markers.  I didn't remember seeing them so I am happy to know they turned out ok!

I love the pink and orange fabric.  What kind of fabric is it and how many yards of it did you bring?  Did Nicole set that up for you?

I agree! I love the fabric on the huppa. Did that come with your wedding package? I'm doing the free wedding at the Grand. I was told by the WC that it came with an arch for the ceremony, but I'm not sure if any fabric or decorations are included.

Oh no!  We have the disco booked as well, I'm scared now.  We were planning to give a list of requested songs, and let him fill in the rest - we figured we can leave it up to professional.  In this case, I think we'll be providing a loooong list.  But he should still know how to mix the songs and how to get the crowd excited.  I hope ours is better.  If you end up getting his name, can you PM it to me? :)

Thanks! I used organza fabric for the huppa. I ordered 10 yards of the red and 25 yards of the orange. I ordered from bbcrafts.com. They sell fabric by the roll. I paid $55 or so total but about $25 was shipping because I needed it shipped in 3 days. Nicole had someone decorate the huppa for us. We did nothing at all! Idk about the Grand but at the Suites white sheer fabric is included for decorating the huppa.

    • Let me know if it works. I'm really curious to know
    • I believe that it is absolutely not important what kind of gift, the main thing is that it was presented with all heart. For example, recently my friend had an anniversary and I gave him an original painting in word art style. He really liked it, as I found the right words. Hmm .. Finding out where their first kiss was will be a real problem, but I think it can be solved. Just arrange a walk with them and ask more about how they started dating, where they first met, etc. They themselves will reveal all the secrets to you. I hope you can make an amazing gift for them. Good luck !!
