Im here too!

I am Jan 2011, well if I get my way and we can get things rolling fast enough. WE are kind on hold, but still sort of planning for 2011. I have my beach and Hangover kits done and need a few more things for my OOT bags, but otherwise that is all done too. Its hard bc everyone is planning for 2010 and we have to wait a whole year more....I wish it was here already. Oh well, this way we can get a lot of ideas from all these ladies!

Congrats my fellow 2011 brides to be!

Hey all - I'm an April 2011 bride! I'm trying to pick a place and it is super hard...right now it is the DR (Punta Cana) or Cozumel. I am leaning more toward the DR, but I have several friends that went and did not have a good experience so they are trying to persuade me away...I went to Puerto Plata and LOVED it...it was beautiful. Eh... thankfully I have a lot of time before I have to really make any final decisions!

I've started the process, I have a venue and a wedding planner. This way I can lock in the 2009/2010 prices for some vendors. So it won't hurt if you start to do some research....

I'm a 2011 bride! May 1, 2011 in Punta Cana, DR. My wedding day is already reserved at the Excellence Punta Cana and my dress has been ordered. Save the dates are going out early December as well. It's never to early to start planning. My fiance thinks I'm crazy but it's less I have to worry about at the end if I get all the little things done! Congrats ladies!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
