Thanks Sammysgirl! I'm trying my hardest to stick to the plan. The long weekend wasn't so good but I'm back on track now. I have to get into the mindset of writing everything I eat down on paper. I haven't been tracking everything I eat. Today starts a new week for me. I will weigh in on Friday and keep you posted!

Crystal1880, Yes, I'm sending out my save-the-dates in early December. I'm doing this because it's before the holidays and before Income Tax season. Even though we still have another holiday and income tax season before our wedding, this will give our guests the chance to save even more. Invitations will be going out next November which will be six months before our wedding so that'll be another reminder before the holiday and income season of 10/11. I hope this helps!

I'm a 2011 bride! May 1, 2011 in Punta Cana, DR. My wedding day is already reserved at the Excellence Punta Cana and my dress has been ordered. Save the dates are going out early December as well. It's never to early to start planning. My fiance thinks I'm crazy but it's less I have to worry about at the end if I get all the little things done! Congrats ladies!

I have two Boston Terriers: Booger and Chloe. Chloe love getting out of the yard but luckily we always end up chasing her down. He's in my thoughts. I hope he's returned safely.

Hello Ladies! I am in desperate need of support. Last Wednesday I ordered my wedding dress. After the bridal consultant measured me, she gave me two options. Since my waist is 35 inches, that would make my dress a size 18 which puts me into the plus sizes and I'd have to pay an extra $50 or I could buy a size 16 and lose two inches off my waist. I was mortified to hear that I was a size 18 and would be a plus size bride if I didn't lose weight. I decided to order the size 16 and now am on a mission to lose 30lbs before my wedding day. My long term goal is 40-45 lbs and short term goal is 30lbs. I've always been thin until my late twenties and now early thirties. Since getting engaged in May I've gained about 5 lbs. Since meeting my fiance I've gained about 20lbs. I'm 5'4 and weigh 160.8lbs. I should weigh between 114-127 since I have a small frame. Today I'm starting the gym and have been taking Zumba classes every Friday. I just need to stay motivated. For some reason I lose motivation and just give up. I can't do that now. I have to lose the weight! Any tips for keeping motivated? All your support is greatly appreciated.

Amber, You must be so excited to be married. I can't wait to get married at Excellence. I've been dreaming of the day ever since we met. Did you have to bring all the decorations down with you or did they provide some like the chair decorations, flowers for the ceremony, etc.? Congratulations! You were a beautiful bride!

Okay ladies, well I'm going to David's Bridal tonight and am so glad I read these posts. I don't plan on buying anything from them. I just need an idea of what style of dress I want. I plan on buying my dress online. Also, if you do buy from David's DON'T get the alterations done there. Bring your dress somewhere else to be altered. David's charges an arm and a leg. I will let you all know how my experience is tonight.

Not sure if this is how I do it. My last attempt on WW was before I went to Jamaica in February. I lost ten lbs before I went and gained 5 while I was there. Since then, I've gained an additional 7lbs. I really need to lose the weight now. I really want to get motivated. The hardest part of it all is exercising. I would love to take some engagement pictures but looking at pictures of myself right now is horrifying. Any advice would be great.

NYC Bride, I am having the same problem. Although we are having a "legal" ceremony before we leave to DR and my BFF will be there as my witness and MOH, she is saying that she might not be able to make it to our WEDDING in DR which is much more important to me than our "legal" ceremony here in RI. At first she was thinking that my godson would be 5 and in school so she may not have anyone to take him back and forth to school and then she said that she might not be able to go because her fiance has been out of work and they may not be able to afford it. This past Tuesday we spent the whole day together for my birthday. I showed her our STDs and she really didn't have a reaction. I understand with the economy it's hard to commit to a trip but I've given her two years notice. We're getting married May 1, 2011!! I just feel that if she really cared then she would be there. My fiance and I are not in the position to be able to pay for her and her fiance so that is out of the question. I'm starting to get over the fact that she may not be there. I'm just concentrating on planning and making it very special for me and my fiance. Our guests will be a bonus. We don't need anyone to stand up for us at our wedding. In your situation, I think it's horrible for her to be complaining of a 12 hour flight. If that was the only problem my MOH had she'd still be there in a heart beat. And your being so accomodating to her by offering to pay and she's still not responding. All I can say is hopefully she doesn't expect you to go all out for her wedding when she decided to get married. I'm sure you're just as hurt as I am. I'm afraid that after all of this that I'll resent her and I certainly don't want that to happen. I guess my advice to you is to take it one day at a time and in the end the only important thing is that you have a beautiful wedding. Good luck!
