Ladies, i had a fitting today w/ my seamstress and he basically had to make me stop breathing for 30 secs to button the top clasp........ he also recommended that i wear a long veil to camouflage the back fat... so bummed... i have already lost about 10 lbs and i was dreading this day.... my AHR dress is 10 and needs to be taken up but my Jamaica dress is an 8 and needs more weight gone......really bummed....

need some quick bridal remedies/diets... already toning but need to lose some quick pounds for pre-bridal photos in August....help!!!!!!please!!!

I can't believe he told you to wear a long veil because of your back fat!!! That pisses me off!! Anyway, I have no words of wisdom just thought I would comment on that!

How long do you have to shed the weight?

If you are not exercising, start. If you are exercise, kick up the intensity. Eat super clean- eliminate sugar, white bread, flour, anything that isn't whole grains, drinks lots of water, use flax seed oil, extra virgin olive oil, lean proteins and vegetables.

If you have at least two week you should be able to do it. Good luck!

I am moving this thread to the appropriate sub-forum. Please pay attention to where you are posting threads and do not post every thread in Jamaica b/c that is your wedding location. The Mods work very hard to keep this forum organized and clean.
          Thanks,
          Alyssa

My FI and his entire family went on weight watchers just recently...None of them were/are overweight really....but they are all losing weight like crazy on WW. My future father in law has lost 40 pounds since January. My future mother in law has lost about 20 i think and my FI has lost 14 pounds in the past two months. I might be worth giving a try. Also working out daily and drinking lots of water will help.

BUT!!!! I can't believe he told you to wear a long veil!! I would have kicked him. Do you have any picks of you in the dress?

The same thing happened to me.

Here is the thread where I got lots of helpful advice:
                    http://bestdestinati...om/forum/t22465

Also, you mentioned toning. My seamstress had me stop lifting because it was broadening my back as the muscle developed. Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't situation...

And, you need to smack the guy for commenting on back fat. You're a size 10 in a wedding dress which probably means you are a 4 in real life. Get your dress and tell him to f-off!
