Wow, this thread is HILARIOUS! I cannot believe that people would actually name their children after an STD (and i do not mean save the date)

Having said that, I know of two very sweet little girls whose (most likely drunk) mother named them:

Chardonnay and Tia Maria

But.. that definatley isn't as bad as an STD!

What a great list of names - I will need to share this with DH when he gets home! LOL!

I know a hippy mom who named her kids, Luv (boy), Truth (boy) and Mercy (girl) - they are all a little off but I think thats from what she did while they were in the womb (if you know what I mean) not the names.

This is one of my favorite conversations to have with people. I went to high school with a guy named Jammin. That was his birth name. He played guitar and had long hair, so it was perfect. (He was dreamy - lol)

The worst name I ever heard. Stormy Weather. I heard it called during a graduation ceremony. I had to look down at the program to make sure that was what I heard.

so I shouldn't name my kid e. coli? microbe names aren't cool?

syphilis has a nice ring to it too.

gingivitis?

osteoporosis?

I jokingly told my mom once that I was naming my kids mitochondia & choloplast. Little boy choloplast will be dressed in all green all the time. I think she believed me. I say things with too straight of a face.

My grandfather and his brother are both Richard. Richard II and Richard III.

One is refered to as Big "Richard" and the other is refered to as Little "Richard". My grandfather is the Little one and it is terrible to hear my grandparents laughing and making jokes about it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
