I would love to give her the benefit of the doubt in that she was just repeating some tv her parents shouldnt have let her watch. Maybe she didnt have a clue what she was saying. I know my 9 year old niece has been copying her dipshit step brother and flashing gang signs. She has no idea what she is doing just that her step brother is doing it.

That's true. When I was little I picked up the word "bastard" from Crocodile Dundee and called my sister a bastard. I got in trouble, but I had no idea it was a bad word.

Also- in 7th grade (either I was naive or things have changed A LOT!) I called my dad a Dildo- not in a mad way, just like in a joking way. I didn't know what it was. My dad said "do you know that means? It's a fake penis." OMG I was so embarrassed.

This is why children should not watch TV and parents should realize how smart their kids are: they have excellent memories and grow up trying to emulate adults around them.

I probably would have smacked her, just on instsict - sike. I always talk , but I would have had a very strong word with her and her father together when we got back.

              You poor thing!!!!

Well - I just basically stood there with my mouth open! I was totally shocked!

She said this as we were getting of the bus to come to the fire station. Once we got here there were 140 kids and a ton of adults. I kind of just let those girls run free. After their firehouse tour the kids were going back on the busses and would be reunited with their parents in another part of the airport. Since my daughter and I weren't going back with the rest of the group I asked one of the ladies who was in the group that I was with to take them back. I told her what she said and she said she would tell her dad.

From the impression I got, everyone really thought their dad was a nice guy. I don't know the deal with their home life but I was totally apalled at their behavior - as were the rest of the adults who were in our group.

Even my boss who works with the Childrens Burn Foundation (so he works with a lot of kids) - said to me this morning "My God - those kids were terrible! - Obviously you didn't know what you were getting into when you offered." I was like - yeah duh!

Oh - I forgot to say, the little one called my daughter fat. OMG - That little girl almost got pounded! My daughter got in her face and in her meanest 10 year old voice said, "What did you say?" I had to pull my daughter away.

I don't condone violence and know kids can be mean, but on the inside I was so proud of my daughter for standing up for herself.

Some of the adults on the tour who heard this and saw what was going on kind of snickered because they knew the little one TOTALLY deserved it.

Kids are so horrible sometimes lol

it is probably something she has seen off tv and has no idea what it means lol still no excuse tho

my best mate's husband told her that he had bought their 5 year old a dvd for the car to go to the zoo - so 2 mins in she hears mam what does "fuck mean" lol she pulls over and yep he'd bought him Family Guy!! she nearly beat him to a pulp (the husband) we had to persuade the little one that it was a made up word and we didn't use made up words cause it made you look stupid lol god i hope he bought it lmao

gotta admit tho when he was out of the way I nearly wet myself laughing lmao
