Jenn & Danielle, you girls are so nice. Don't worry about looking for extra stuff for me, I'll make it work somehow. But thank you!

I am with those who said to go with a 'scaled down version' of the OOT bags. It's too late to order everything anyway so just do what you can. Don't stress over it!

Omgosh 83 guests! Aesome! How many did you invite total?

Girl, your day is getting SO CLOSE! You must be so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

We invited a total of around 200 I think. I'm from a very large family and surprisingly a lot of them are coming (which I was not expecting but am so psyched about).

OMG Lizz!!! I'm going thorough the EXACT same thing right now as we speak!! But my problem is on BOTH ENDS. People that didn't rsvp, suddenly calling me for my TA's info (after it was already sent in the invite, reminder, and posted on our website) and people that did RSVP, but I'm finding out through the grapevine that they are not coming.......didn't even call me to let me know. I've cried and screamed plenty of times regarding this issue. I even have some people that haven't even gotten their passports yet! This has absolutely been the worst part of the wedding planning process by far!

That would irritate me as well! I think that you should remember that even if they did not RSVP they are still making YOUR wedding! The fact is that a DW cost them more money than they would spend on an AHW. They are there to support you! I would say that if they booked and paid to come to your wedding, you should make them a bag. I dont think that it matters if it is on the "down scale" but I think that they should def get one so they dont feel left out! Believe me, I know that there is a lot of planning in a DW, but remember the economy isnt great right now and I would appriciate those who even made an attempt to be there!

go to 5 below in Ardmore or by Circuit City on Rt1 and pick up stupid stuff for stupid people.

I know I will have the same thing because I know my family so I am prepared to tell them hahahaha Lawrence's family got the good stuff and you got what was left for being last minute.

Good luck

My aunt, my cousin and his girlfriend did this to me like 2 weeks before the wedding. I wanted to KILL them!!! Jerks.

I sent out OOT bags prior so they just didn't get one and luckily I had extra favors, but seriously, it's just such a crappy thing to do. They also never sent their RSVP cards back with either a yes, no... not even a "maybe" heads up. Actually I didn't even know they were coming until my dad casually mentioned something about their flight to me (he thought they told me). I don't know WTF is wrong with people!!

Don't get me wrong, I definitely appreciate the fact that they're coming, I'm just annoyed that some of them didn't tell us. I'm also annoyed at myself for not planning accordingly and getting extra stuff just in case. There is no way that I wouldn't give them OOT bags, I just am out of the stuff that is in everyone else's bags; so I'll have to go out and get stuff but oh well!

It's funny b/c I was just at Five Below in Ardmore last week buying stuff for the OOT bags for my 2 nephews. But it is only a few minutes away from me, so I can easily make another trip. Thanks for the suggestions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
