    Not July but June 28th next door at the Royalton. I was told to expect temps in the high 80's low 90's but have also been advised that this area has great breezes and waves are more rough than other areas, so I hope the wind will provide some relief. I think I want to have a indoor reception.

    Nice to see what everyone else is doing. My fiancé refuses to have a registry -he thinks people are paying enough to go. His family are the ones asking for the registry (go figure). This week we received a target registry flier in the mail with a $20 gift card once you sign up... He loved that but only wants to sign up for the gift card lol.

    I agree the resort is new and I think things are getting better each day. I ignore some of the comments and pictures of cracks in marble staircase and other small things. I care about things like flooding rooms. I don't drink much but I am looking forward to sitting on the swing at the beach bar. You should also check out the forums on tripadvisor a great resource to talk to people who are currently at the resort or have been. *Just noticed two May brides days apart !

    So I am a little behind. I have not selected a package yet. I paid the deposit to hold the date and location. When you selected your package did you pay upfront or have to add an additional deposit ? Laura is my contact also

    I hope you get the pictures I asked for them on Monday.I think it has been about a month since pro pictures were taken. @@cottagegirl what rates did they give for that size group ? I also checked out the jellyfish restaurant which is mentioned a lot on the website but it was to expensive for my small group.

    @@Soon2bMrsClark congrats ! I have found a couple of pictures of weddings on the beach on what they are calling the gazebo. My profile pic is of the gazebo during the day. I will see if I copied any of the photos I found online. @@Soon2bMrsClark Try doing a google search for wedding royalton punta Cana 3 or 4 pictures show up. I must say that I am a little disappointed in the wrapping of the fabric if I am charged $600 for that plus a small table and two flower arrangements. Also try tripadvisor photos

    @@csho Funny thing... I just received an e-mail from Shutterfly for a free book of course it is for an 8X8 and you have to pay shipping. I would love to see how your book turns out.

    I'm debating but leaning towards a shutterfly book because they always send out coupons for free books or half off.
